Mamamoo Wheein update her condition after stage injury

Just many moomoo already knows that a few days ago, mamamoo wheein get a stage incident while performing with her long time teammate, mamamoo for a concert. After sustaining an eye injury during the Incheon Airport Sky Concert Kpop Concert due to firework dust getting into the singer's eyes, her agency update the fans with wheein condition.

MAMAMOO member Wheein has officially joined THE L1VE, the music label founded by VIXX’s Ravi. Although she is no longer under RBW, like the other three mamamoo members, she will still participate in mamamoo activities till 2023.

The L1ve official statement:

Today, our agency artist Wheein experienced pain in the eye due to residue from a stage effect device while completing her activities. Right after the incident occurred, she visited the hospital and received a detailed eye examination. With the examination results, she received a diagnosis of a cornea wound from a foreign body. Currently, she is resting after being prescribed with the appropriate treatment and medicine. If there is a change in her future schedule, we will announce it in a separate notice. In order to quickly update MooMoo [MAMAMOO’s fan club] who must have been surprised at the news about Wheein today, we ask for your understanding for the late night notice. We also apologize for causing worry for MooMoo, who always show support for Wheein, with this unintentional accident. In the future, for Wheein’s full recovery, we will proceed with activities while prioritizing our artist’s health. Thank you.

On the 25th of September, a day after the singer received medical care for her injuries and her official agency statement. The vocalist reached out to fans concerning her health condition via FanCafe.

Wheein clarified that she is doing much better and has been following the doctor's orders regarding taking care of her eye injury and resting well. Even going so far as to ask moomoos not to worry too much about her health. She was likely hinting at the fact that the singer was aware that after the incident, fans trended worldwide their wishes for the singer to be well for several hours.

Hoping for wheein fast recovery. And actually the Incheon Airport Sky Concert Kpop Concert organizers has not give any public statement and apology to the singer about wheein injuries sustained while performing on stage. While mamamoo fans surely want the apology, but it is still a happy news that the singer is now in better condition.
