[BREAKING] 2 PM CHANSUNG LEFT JYP AND ANNOUNCE MARRIAGE DUE TO PREGNANCY

South Korean actor and 2PM's member Hwang Chan-sung has surprised his fans on Wednesday as he penned a long letter about his big decisions for his career. As previously reported, The 31-year-old also informed that his partner is in the early stages of pregnancy. Taking to Instagram, Chansung announced his marriage plans to his fiancé and that they are expecting their first child. In his statement, the artist also announced his decision to exit from his agency JYP Entertainment in the month of January next year.

He then went on: “There is someone I have been in a relationship with for a long time. She has been the resting place for my unstable heart and a friend whom I can share anything with. She became my girlfriend. Chansung debuted in 2PM in 2008. He said his contract with JYP Entertainment, which spanned 15 years, will end in January and they have mutually agreed not to renew it.

Although 2PM has not made a comeback as a full group since 2016 due to the members’ military service, their music has managed to stay in the spotlight nonetheless. Aside from the members’ various solo releases and projects, their latest comeback this year went viral after its release and inspired countless covers by younger idols.

Taecyeon, the 2pm member, commented on the post to show love for his bandmate with a heartfelt message. He affectionately wrote, “Our youngest member Chansung.No matter what road you take, I will always support you and stay by your side. I sincerely congratulate you, and be happy!! I love you.”

2PM member Taecyeon parted ways with JYP Entertainment back in 2018, becoming the first member of his group to promote under a different agency. Afterward, he signed with the acting label 51K. However, Taecyeon proved earlier that he is still a part of 2pm this year that despite being managed by a different company, because he is available in 2pm new comeback mv.

According to JYPE, "Each of the 2PM members renewed their contracts at different time periods, and so each member's contract will expire at different lengths. In Chansung's case, his renewed contract will expire by January of 2022. However, there is still a lot of time left before Jun.K, Nichkhun, Wooyoung, and Junho's contracts come to an end."
