All Korean drama about time travel

Fantasy drama fan, let's rejoice! Time travel is a theme that often use in a drama. It's always interesting to see how people action against time. Here are several drama that give you a time travel theme:

  1. 1. Mr. Queen (2020)
  2. It's a historical drama where the man lead soul from future end up time travel as a queen in Joseon era. It's a historical kdrama which was actually fun, had great comedy instead of the usual sad painful types. Every minute, every second, of each episode I was so thoroughly entertained. The cast is so perfect for their roles. The leads are so amazing. The script is so well written that you can never guess what will happen next . The chemistry between the leads is terrific. This drama takes us along the journey of betrayals, secrets, assassinations with a healthy dose of humor mixed with it. From the first episode itself, you will be cracking up with laughter which will make you stick around till the end.

2. Tomorrow’s with you (2017)
A beautiful, languidly romantic time traveling story, Tomorrow With You (2017) was the next K-drama on the excellent tvN cable station. Both of the lead is veteran in acting and has shown their skills. It offers a beautiful slow-burn romance that is genuine and realistic to keep you emotionally satisfied, while make you want more. Real-estate CEO Yoo So-joon uses his ability to travel through time to marry photographer Song Ma-rin in an attempt to change his future. The character of Shin Min-ah and Lee Je-hoon going through their somewhat ill fated encounters but somehow made their relationship work and were able to get together despite the obstacles they faced alone or together.

3. Queen In-Hyun's Man (2012)
The story centers around obscure actress Choi Hee-jin who falls in love with Kim Bung-do, a time-traveling scholar from the Joseon Dynasty who jumps 300 years into the future to the 21st century.  I love that the show is well-written and well-made, and the production values are high. Everything looks polished, slick and expensive. But what's best is their chemistry, the romance is in the air, so no wonder after the drama ends, the lead couple end up together in real life for a short time.

4. The King: Eternal Monarch (2020)
It's a different experience for me watching this drama which handles the concept of parallel world and different timelines.never I have seen a k drama with this kinda concept.its is so fresh.kudos to the team who handled it with perfection. Although the rating is quiet disappointed with all that star studded casts and huge production budget, but it is still worth watching. Traveling in time and parallel worlds isn’t something usual that you see in every drama. And certainly you didn’t watch a k drama with this story line before.

5. Chicago Typewriter (2017)
Three people living during the Japanese occupation of Korea in the 1930s are reincarnated in present day. Elements of fantasy and romance running throughout Chicago Typewriter, adding a slight of action. The Various Findings in “Chicago Typewriter”: The historical background and real people who inspire the characters. As the story goes towards the end and each character tries to recall their past life, Chicago Typewriter's 1930s scenes take center in most part of the episodes.

6.Rooftop Prince (2012)
Crown Prince Lee Gak transports 300 years into the future following the death of his wife; in 21st century Seoul, he meets Joo Se-Na, a woman with an uncanny resemblance to the deceased princess.
Uncontrollable laughter, tears, joy, bliss, sweetness, and sadness were all rolled into one. I had a good laugh after the first few episodes. The love shared by park ha and his royal highness lee gak made me feel in love again.

7. Tunnel (2017)
Based on a real-life incident, the story follows what happens when a tanker truck collides and catches on fire in a tunnel. Families and tourists are trapped as a blizzard outside makes it hard for first responders to get to the scene. Overall, It is an excellent film that can be seen multiple times for its cinematic excellence and a hard hitting indirect message to all.

8 Signal (2016)
The three main protagonists are known for their acting crafts and two of them had won several awards. Hence, you are sure on a nice ride with on point acting and emotional scenes. Signal received high claims for its dark storyline, acting, and use of real-life crime cases. Serial killer Lee Choon-jae was Korea's first known killer who committed the Hwaseong serial murders from 1989 to 1991. In Signal, a serial killer mimics the Modus Operandi and the story of Lee. Seriously one word, outstanding thriller drama.

9 Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo (2016)
Ha-jin travels 1000 years back in time and lands in the era of Goryeo Dynasty as a young girl named Hae-soo. Ha-jin, now trapped in another person's body, becomes involved in a power struggle against various vicious contenders to the throne. It is a Korean drama that adapted from a popular mainland drama with the same name. If you love a bitter sweet ending, this drama is for you.

10. Alice (2020)
A police detective discovers the existence of time travelers while investigating a murder. In some of the episodes, it Failed To Maintain A Polished Plot. In 2050, the construction of Alice, where time travellers who managed to travel through time gather, is completed. In short the drama is about itriguing plot, good actors but let down with lazy script writing which needed a lot of attention to detail and processing to fully understand the plot. Even then some logic leap is just too great to follow.
