Breaking news from tonight as sport kyunghang reported that wheein from mamamoo won’t extend her contract
On June 9, Sports Kyunghyang reported that Wheein had decided to part ways with her agency RBW after her the expirations of her contract. The news outlet shared that she would still continue to promote with MAMAMOO through mutual discussions with the agency.
Following the report, a source from RBW clarified, “Nothing has been decided regarding Wheein’s renewal of her contract. We are currently having our final discussions. We will officially announce the decision when it is finalized.”
Previously, MAMAMOO's Wheein Almost Left The Group After Prank Where Hwasa Was Ridiculed. During an online broadcast, MAMAMOO's Wheein recalled an incident where the members, Solar and Moonbyul, began to discuss her best friend in the group, Hwasa, in front of her.

Wheein will not be renewing her contract. RBW 'We fully respect Wheein's decision and we wish her happiness in her future endeavours.' But due to Wheein's affection towards Mamamoo, she will still be still be involved in Mamamoo's activities till 2023 December.
