Thus this far, in my personal opinion, Jpop still has a lot of great talent to give competition to Kpop idols. Although in general Kpop male idols might be taller in general, but we have some jpop idols like kimura takuya, jin akanishi and yamapi who have height above 175 cm. (Pretty tall compare to Japan height standard). Yet, while Kpop idols get another new generation to "replace" the old one, Jpop is still known more from their previous generation idols. While Kpop is still moving and changing with much more diverse complicated dance routine and the new music (edm), Jpop is still the same just like it is.
