KPOP IDOLS WHO DEBUT YOUNG WHEN THEY WERE STILL 15

A lot of Korean teenagers are dreaming to become an idol someday because entertainment world looks so dazzling and could change a person fate in one year. They later become a trainee who train and practice through the night, day by day, and excel in a lot of position, from dance to vocal. Not all these trainees could be luck to debut by an entertainment agency. Only the lucky individual who possessed the most skill, characteristic and personality that fit by the produce will end up debuted in a rookie group. Whey they finally debut in a group, they represent themselves as a new image/personality that might inspire others to do great and wonderful things. You could say that "the debut phase" is crucial part for an artist to grow, because at this stage an artist is required to be able to build a positive image and brand about themselves. Usually they need a lot of time to be able to debut as an idol. It's better for a person to debut early especially for boys because they have military duty and for girls, as 30 seems old to be an idol's image.

Here are 8 KPop idols who made their first debut at a very young age, which is 15 years. Who do you think it is?

1. Suzy

Bae Su Ji, also known as Suzy, made her debut with a girl group Miss A in 2010 under JYP entertainment. Suzy debuted with Miss A a few months before her 16th birthday. Before joining JYP Entertainment, Suzy had auditioned for Superstar K on Mnet. Unforunately, she is eliminated early. Even so, it turns out that the talent possessed by Suzy was able to attract the attention of  JYP CEO. No wonder Suzy only needed a year training time to debut with Miss A.

2. Krystal 'f (x)'

It was famous that one SM staff scout her when she was a child playing in a department store with her sisters. But at that time Krystal's parents refused the offer of SM Entertainment's talent agency to train Krystal to sing and dance professionally. Instead, they let the older sister, jessica, to train first because she is older. In 2006, Krystal's parents allowed her to join SM Entertainment. Three years later, Krystal debuted with f (x) girl band. They debuted on September 2, 2009 at the Samseong-dong Fashion Center showcase. At that time Krystal was not even 15 years old!

3. IU
This girl, whose real name is Lee Ji Eun, was born in Seoul on May 16, 1993. IU debuted in the Korean entertainment industry when she was only 15 years old. Before joining LOEN Entertainment, IU took part in 20 auditions but failed at all the audition. She has shared a lot of sad stories about her financial difficulties, regarding her family and more, pre-debut days, before she finally get her own success and become one of a legendary icon in Korean entertainment. Before debut, she has been scammed by a fake entertainment agency and lost several money that she doesn't have to begin with.

She got success later due to the famous 3 octave range, her appearances in a lot of variety show and humble personality that well loved by staffs. Her career even start to grow more when she lined up to play the character of Kim Pil Sook in the drama Dream High. After the drama ended, the name IU began to be widely known by the public.

4. Minzy
It seems like the art blood that runs through Minzy's body is a descendant of her family. Minzy is the grandson of a legendary traditional dancer in South Korea named Gong Okjin. Initially Minzy uploaded a video of herself dancing on the internet. But who would have thought that the video got a pretty good response from netizens. Until finally YG Entertainment found out about the video. Without thinking, YG finally offered Minzy to be trained at the entertainment company. And in 2009, a girl born in Seoul on January 18, 1994 debuted with CL, Dara, and Park Boom who were members of the 2NE1 girl group.


5. Jungkook from 'BTS'
Everyone must know that Jungkook is the maknae or youngest member in BTS. Before officially joining BTS, Jungkook had auditioned for Superstar K, just like Suzy. But unfortunately he was still out of luck because he had to be eliminated before entering the final round. But the failure doesnt make Jungkook to give up. Even after that he auditioned for talent searches that held by major Korean agencies such as JYP, Cube, and Woolim. Although he did't get recruited from any of the agency, it seems his hard work pay out afterall. In June 2013 He joined Big Hit Entertainment at the age of 15 years and debut into One of SUPER KPOP BOYGROUP, BTS.

6. Zelo
Maknae from BAP's boy band debuted as a kpop idol in 2011. At that time, Zelo was still 15 years old. He was first introduced to the public as a member of the BAP sub-unit with Bang Yong Guk. Until finally in 2012, Zelo officially debuted with BAP. In the boy band, Zelo took the role of a rapper. In January 2012 BAP appeared publicly and released their debut single "Warrior".'

7. Changmin 'TVXQ'



Changmin first joined SM Entertainment when he was 14 years old. A year after that he officially debuted with TVXQ on December 26, 2003. His debut at a very young age made Changmin have many fans. But who would have thought that Changmin's career could be said to be the most shining among his friends at TVXQ.

8. Taemin 'SHINee' 
At the beginning of his appearance with SHINee, this boy born on July 18, 1993 did indeed look very cute. How not, Taemin debuted with SHINee when he was 15 years old. Taemin first joined SM Entertainment when he was 12 years old. At that time, he attended the Open Weekend Audition Casting held by SM. Who would have thought that he passed until he finally became a trainee in SM. Three years later Taemin successfully debuted with SHINee on May 25, 2008 at the age of 15 years.
