Mnet will make boys planet in 2022, as the result of successful debut on their previous program, girl planet 999, with final temporary group: kep1er.
Through the 2021 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) held in Paju on December 11, Mnet revealed a trailer announcing that 'Boys Planet' will be airing in 2022.
Although after such controversy in produce series due to manipulation and said that they would atone and not create a kpop idols show ever again, they once again lies and take their own word, because they are planning to continue what they have been doing all this time. Meanwhile, the final girl group from 'Girls Planet 999', Kep1er were set to debut this December. However, due to a staff who tested positive for COVID-19, their debut has been postponed indefinitely.
