IDOLS WHO GET COVID 19 IN 2021

 In this pandemic, many people got infected with this deadly virus and not little give a fatal result as death. Although many idols are healthy individual, and there is no record of death from idols, yet many has been infected with this disease. Here are several Kpop idols who get infected with covid 19:

1. TREASURE member So Jung Hwan tested positive for COVID-19 today (July 16).

YG Entertainment, home to K-pop boy band Treasure, said Tuesday, July 13, that member Doyoung had tested positive. Jung Hwan tested negative initially, but he received a positive result from continuously checking his health with a rapid detection kit while under self-quarantine, and he was confirmed positive with the following PCR test. Fortunately other team members and staff are not positive.

2. BTOB’s Minhyuk has tested positive for COVID-19.

BTOB Minhyuk underwent preemptive testing after his vocal teacher was confirmed with the virus. His results for both the rapid antigen test and PCR test came back negative, and he went into self-quarantine. He visited the health center on July 16 after showing signs of coughs and a fever and tested positive for COVID-19 today (July 17).

3. Ateez’s San is asymptomatic

On July 10, KQ Entertainment, which manages K-pop boy band Ateez, said the octet would put its musical activities on hold as member San tested positive for Covid-19.

4.  Kim Sung-gyu tests positive for COVID-19 after getting Janssen jab

K-pop boy band Infinite’s Kim Sung-gyu tested positive for the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) Sunday, more than two weeks after getting inoculated with Johnson & Johnson’s one-dose Janssen vaccine. His agency, Double H TNE, announced his condition, saying, “On the morning of June 27, our artist Kim Sung-gyu was notified that he tested positive for COVID-19.”

5.  Singer Seo In-young, best known for her 2008 hit "Cinderella," confirmed she had been infected.

6. Jang Minho

According to reports, the cast of “PPONG School” were also tested for the virus after a few members of the cast contracted it. Although the was first reported to have tested negative, Jang Min Ho did a second test, announced to fans that his results came back as positive.

7. Former volleyball player Kim Yo-han and R&B boy band Noel’s Lee Sang-gon tested positive for Covid-19. 

8. K-pop stars Chungha and Sihyeon from Everglow have all tested positive for Covid-19. 

9. Two members of K-pop boy band Up10tion tested positive, their talent agency Top Media announced – Bitto at the end of November and Kogyeol last week. Thankfully, the rest of the members tested negative

With this pandemic, entertainment business is at stake. The boy band Golden Child also pushed back its live concert dates following the recent Covid-19 flare-up. It was originally planning to hold concerts titled “Summer Breeze” on July 17 and 18 at Blue Square Mastercard Hall in central Seoul. To cover all that, K-pop boyband EXO also reportedly has two members who have joined the fray, with Suho donating 50 million won (S$58,000) to the Community Chest of Korea and Kai matching that donation amount to the Hope Bridge Disaster Relief Association.

JYP Entertainment, with a roster that includes 2PM, GOT7, Day6 and TWICE, has also reportedly made a donation of 500 million won (S$584,000) to the Community Chest of Korea. Other organisations who are benefitting from this wave of generosity include Good Neighbors, which received 100 million won (S$117,00) from K-pop group MONSTA X, and Plan Korea, which got 10,000 masks from comedian Park Na-rae.
