KRIS WU from EXO accused SEXUAL ASSAULT

On July 19th, the former EXO member posted a message on Weibo denying all allegations he recently faced. He wrote, "I've reached a state where I couldn't stand anymore due to people spreading rumors." He claimed, "I met her once last December 5th at a party with my friends but I've never offered her drinks or asked her number. There were many people (at the party) who can testify."

After pop star Kris Wu was accused of infidelity and luring underaged girls for sex by alleged girlfriend, at least four brands in China announced the termination to work with him and some deleted or hid their advertisement with him amidst simmering public opinion against him. Libai announced on Monday that it will terminate all brand cooperation with Wu via its official Sina Weibo account, while EtherealSound announced late Sunday that all cooperation with Wu had been terminated. Content that Wu had been involved in was deleted on the APP.

Lancome and Kiehl's chose to hid their official microblogs with Wu. Shanghai-based cosmetics Kans announced it will dismiss cooperation agreements with Wu on Sunday, while Wuhan-based snack brand Bestore also said that its agreement with Wu expired last November.

This situation officially affect the artist and make him speak out.

He said, "I have never done things like luring someone and committing rape. The same applies to underage girls. If I've done anything like this, I'll turn myself in jail. I will legally take accountability for my words here."

An alleged sexual assault victim of Kris Wu has broken her silence as she explains in detail how he had exploited her. In an interview, she spoke about his way luring girls while speaking about her relationship with him.

His studio broke the silence on Monday to clarify and deny the accusations after his alleged girlfriend Du Meizhu released more details in an interview with NetEase Entertainment recently.

Wu's studio in a new released statement on Monday said that what Du said is "false" and is to deliberately incite public opinion against Wu. The studio also claims that Du has been frequently contacting the studio and asking for huge sums of money as a prerequisite to delete and stop publishing the information. The studio said it has reported the case to the public security organs for investigations.

According to a 2017 Forbes China celebrity list, Wu's annual income reached 150 million yuan ($23.1 million) that year, ranking 10th on the list. Wu is likely to suffer huge losses as many brands have terminated cooperation with him after the allegations.

Meanwhile, his contract with SM Entertainment will be effective until 2022 due to the court's decision back in 2016.
