We know that sometimes a Kpop group have several project as SOLO or UNIT. Most of them doing it for their fans and in their senior year. They want to show to their fans a new image that different from the group appeal, so most of the time, their solo or unit project is definitely different from the group. For eg if the group is known for their sexy or mature concept, their unit would be a bubly kinda song. 1. BLACKPINK JENNIE "SOLO"

"SOLO" made a triumphant entry at No. 3 on Billboard's World Digital Song Sales chart and the girl-power anthem took the No. 1 spot. According to Nielsen Music, the track has sold 10,000 downloads in the U.S. as of Nov. 29 and has registered more than 5 million on-demand streams since its release.

Jennie, released on November 12, 2018 through YG and Interscope. The song was written by Teddy Park and produced by him alongside 24. Her first ever solo project aside from the group, and it gives her a BOOST of popularity both in South Korea and Internationally. With this solo project she get the title as "the most popular" blackpink member at that time. As comes good thing, comes bad thing too, may fans or blinks kinda jealous about Jennie own success and some of them even said that YG give Jennie too much of special treatment and YG often forget Lisa or Rose. Which is not the case since now All Blackpink member are scheduled to have their own solo project. 2. MAMAMOO WHEEIN Anymore feat Jungkey

“Anymore” is the lead track of JungKey’s two-song single album “Empty,” released Wednesday. It ranked first on Melon music chart’s real time ranking at 8:30 a.m. Friday. Well every single mamamoo members are doing a solo project aside of still being awesome group of mamamoo. It's hard to pick favorite, but there is certain solo project that steal a buzz and make successful breakthrough for the idols. Altho my personal favorite of Wheein solo song might be different, eg I like "Easy" or "25" more. Yet it no debate that this solo project give the most recognition for Wheein as capable singer, not an idols. This song even give Wheein her first ever solo win in music program even without promotion. At that time, this song is so popular that every single cafe played it. The soulful song that move every hearts in pain, this song full of melodic drama. Wheein of Mamamoo celebrated singer-songwriter JungKey’s “Anymore” ranking first place on the Melon music chart via a V broadcast.

3. YOO A OH MY GIRL BON VOYAGE

Bon Voyage is a very airy and light in tone, diverting us away from the synthetic and heavy music influences of today’s music and opts for more a sound and vibe that feels fresh and natural. On August 7, YooA held an online showcase to celebrate the release of her first mini album “Bon Voyage” and the music video for the title track of the same name. Through Bon Voyage, it can be agreed that YooA has managed to show the best of herself. It a really great track and it stands out due to its unique sound (relative to other KPOP releases). The title track “Bon Voyage” has a magical vibe and evokes feelings of being inside nature. YooA noted that it could be considered a unique song. “It’s a very dreamlike and mystical song, but the chorus has a kind of jungle vibe that changes the mood of the song

As this album marks her official solo debut, YooA said she felt very nervous, explaining, “I couldn’t even sleep. I’m not usually the type to get nervous, but I was.” However, she said that after promoting as a member of Oh My Girl for five to six years, she used the opportunity to work hard to fill up the stage with her own presence. The lightness of the song pairs up with YooA’s light and breathy vocals, helping create an aesthetic atmosphere overall. YooA is the main dancer of Oh My Girl, so I had high expectations for the performance for Bon Voyage. And those expectations were definitely exceeded. 4. MAMAMOO HWASA X LOCO "dont give it to me"

Don’t Give it to Me’ was a song that Loco and Hwasa collaborated on, for KBS program ‘Hyena on the Keyboard’. After they released it to the public, the song soared up to the top of major music charts.It was the first song from ‘Hyena on the Keyboard’ to rank number 1 on music chart, and ‘Music Bank’ invited the two artists to perform at a special stage. In addition, the song is still maintaining its spot as number 1, despite the comebacks from powerful singers.

5. EXO BAEKHYUN

Amid the hiatus of group activities, Baekhyun recently made headlines after releasing his second solo EP album "Delight" to huge commercial success. The seven-track EP sold over 1 million copies since its late May release to become the third-biggest selling record after BTS' fourth studio album "Map of the Soul: 7" and Seventeen's seventh EP record "Heng:garae."
