Some facts about X1 Disbandment

In the aftermath of the "Produce 101 MNET" Vote rigged scandal, X1, the by product of the event eventually disbanded. This is the first time that an audition-elected team is disbanded as soon as it makes its debut, about 5 months after its debut, before even have time to make a comeback. Although X1 physical album already sold more than 500K, become the 4th position of Kpop boygroup who could sell most in 2019, after such big senior name like BTS, followed by EXO, and seventeen in order. First of all, the damage to the members is severe. After all the hard work, practice that consume their health, energy and time, They were selected as a debut group but now some of them seems to be back as a trainee.

Different X1 original agencies will have different internal meeting to decide their own artist/trainee. Some X1 agencies who have a team that is ready to debut will make its debut soon, so we can get some X-1 members on board right away with their new group. On other hand, some companies may not have a team to make their debut right away. In this case, if this x1 member can't do his solo career right away, the member literally goes back to being a trainee, waiting several other members to join and create a new group.

Initially, the period of commitment to X1 activities was scheduled to be two and a half years, if they didn't disband. The agency might have made a related schedule based on the assumption that the members who is on x1 temporarily will be back in two and a half years to their own original group.  But because of the disbandment, he suddenly comes back, and there's nothing the agency can prepare in such short amount of time.

Not to mention the financial damage, the members’ mental damage with the fact that he might be back to trainee status, become a critical juncture. Some entertainment speculate that the unit group will be formed, prior to X1 disbandment. But it cannot be compared to official X1 activities as a whole. More over, there are conflicting interests between the agency. It's still unclear about the purpose and vision of the unit group and whether it will be achieved. In other word, The vote rigged scandal by Mnet and CJ Enm has made several live change, and impact their career as idols. How do we compensate for the damage?

The damage for X1 fans, Oneit,  is also devastating. Right now, members of official fanclubs are required to receive refunds, starting with subscription fees. But can it compensate what the fans feel?
These fans must have been cheering for all X1 members with all their heart and soul, even since the Produce 101 era. Oneit must have spent a lot of time and effort cheering for X1 activities even during this short career, less than 5 months. Expectations for official activities, such as comeback must have been high, I mean, who wouldn't after 500K physical sold? Now that all this big achievement has gone down the drain. How can we calculate how big the damage are,  physically and mentally from this disbandment?

Highlighted the fact that CJ ENM lost more credibility with this sudden disbandment of X1. Many people think that X1 will stay and won't disband. However, since the group disbanded in the end, it seems that the last option X1 have now depends on Oneit special project, asking the respective agency to change their mind and not having differed opinion. In the first place, the agency representative should have listened to each member's opinions properly before deciding about x1 future or continuation of their activities.

Suspicions arise that CJ enm made the announcement arbitrarily and ambiguous even when it had nothing different to report. The anonymous vote between agency is a bit fishy and the fact that there is no name mention for which agency or member who want to continue and who don't, probably because there is some circumstances and deal behind it.

In this situation, if compensation is not made properly, CJ enm will lose credibility even more. CJ promised to "take responsibility and compensate." Along with financial compensation, the government will provide substantial relief from damage for future activities to support the entertainment industry. It is unclear how the damage will be compensated for, especially for those victims (Trainee of produce) who supposedly debut as final members. (JR, Jinhyuk, Gaeun)

Currently this scandals have gone big in Korean society and often talked by public, so it went by as if all measures will be taken at any moment. The reality is, when time has passed and this scandal has cooled down, the follow up of this matter might become shutter too. This is why this should not end with the disbandment of X1. The media needs to continue to pay attention and monitor whether the damage is really handled properly.

 Rhymer (Bnm's ceo) saw his IG stories related to X1. He give a like on X1 supportive message for the continuation or reboot of X1. Currently Oneit still can't accept the disbandment news and still fight for X1 members's future. They have spam all x1 representative agency (ceo) to change their minds.

Current situation 4 of 9 don’t want to continue. 1 is abstaint. 4 wants to continue. The agency and members who still want to continue might make a temporary unit group of x1, but the term hasn't been finalize. As each agency have their own interests. 1 x1 members already left x1 dorm as soon as the disbandment are made. While other members followed to leave after 6 January 2020. Rumor said that all the hyung line of x1 member already know about the disbandment news 1 week before the official disbandment news (in late December), plus dohyon. Looking at the fact that Kim yohan already sign without x1 name and hangyul, seunhyeon change their profile on social media. Dohyon and Hangyul apology video also rumor has been made in December. (Due to the same clothes that the idols wear thanks to fancam).

Yet, eunsang still sign with X1 name, one day before the official disbandment news, accused as known nothing about the disbandment yet.
