KPOP GIRL GROUPS with their tomboyish charm

With how typical the standard beauty of Kpop idols, especially for girls, with pale white skin, cherry red lips and straight (preferable long) hair.  No wonder there is several people who looks alike, for eg: red velvet irene and izone eunbi. There is so many other examples. Anyway this female idols could break "this invisible" beauty standard and show their own color, make kpop entertainment more differ. Some of them even has claim several times that a female doesn't mean to have long hair or feminine clothes. Being a girl could also have tattoo or short hair. This amazing kpop girl group member can show their unique beauty that distinguish them with others.

fx Amber
Sm entertainment is famous of their visual, or flower garden. No wonder many girl group members from sm entertainment group astonishing beautiful. Yet, if I must point out one good thing about sm, is that they let their artist to find and show their personality. Although in the beginning sm tried to tone down a bit of amber’s tomboyish fashion, but after several years, sm let it go.

Amber Liu spoke about expectations within the industry to appear perfect. Starting at such a young age and being thrown into the industry, you’re told what to do, what to say, what to think, what to look like,” described Amber Liu. She said that at the beginning she reacted by thinking, “Okay, if that’s what it is, I have to do it. If that’s what I want, if I want to chase my dreams, if I want to do this dream job, that’s what I have to do.”

Amber often seen wearing “guy clothes” with sweat pants, shirt and short hair. Amber role in fx is rapper, although she can definitely sing too. She was born in US, so she has a lot of US idols friend like henry from super junior and erick nam.  Growing in more open minded family, amber grew as a strong woman with principle. On cbs this morning, Amber shared her own feeling.

“I remember that I was too dark, like my skin was too tan and I had to brighten my skin,” she said. “I lost a lot of weight. I developed a lot of really bad eating disorders.” She also talked about how there’s pressure to do plastic surgery because everyone is doing it, and that everyone is constantly checking to make sure all aspects of their appearance look perfect.

“I cannot deny that there is a big difference between male and female levels in the K-pop industry,” she said. “There’s definitely like a floating joke going around that for girls, you have to go for the general public popularity; for boys, you need a fandom, like a big passionate fandom, and you have to steal the hearts of all your fans. And again, I can’t speak for everybody, but there is a big divide.”

Amber also shared her though about mental illness in South korea society. “When people hear you’re asking for help, they’re like ‘What? Why are you getting help? That’s weird.’ And that stigma against mental health is just so strong.”

The show described  “nationwide mental health crisis” in South Korea, saying the subject is taboo and those seeking help face limited resources, while mentioning the high suicide rate in the country.

Kpop idols, They’re called idols, because they’re put on this pedestal of kind of like untouchable perfection I guess in the public’s eyes and in the consumers’ eye.

“It’s scary, you know,” I’ve definitely done some of them. I’ve really screwed up my body. But for boys, it’s definitely a lot more lax. She went on to say that she thinks that for women, there’s a bigger emphasis on visuals and how they look. “It’s something that we can’t ever really win because when I talk with a lot of my male celebrity friends, they’re never really worried about their weight,” she said. “But for girls, it’s what we talk about all the time. Like, ‘We can’t eat’ or ‘What diet are you on?’ or ‘Oh, I tried this procedure today, do you want to try it?’ It’s scary and it’s very unhealthy.”

No wonder with this, Amber tried to tell us girl to be who you are and strong handling society judgment.

Twice Jeongyeon
Jeongyeon trained to become a K-pop idol for five years. She officially changed her name to "Yoo Jung-yeon" in the third grade because she was teased for her birth name "Yoo Kyung-wan" being too masculine or like a boy name. She joined the company after passing the JYP Entertainment's 6th Open Audition on March 1, 2010. Like Nayeon, Jihyo and Sana, she was originally set to debut in a group called 6mix. In 2014, she appeared with Nayeon in the music video of Got7's "Girls Girls Girls" and, in 2015, appeared in miss A's "Only You" music video. She and her sister (Gong Seung Yeon) were the hosts of Inkigayo from July 3, 2016 to January 22, 2017.

As twice has a lot of members, 9, it's natural to have a tomboy/short haired girl in the group.

Ari
Former Tahiti member Ari recently gained recognition for her short hair. She is capable of looking beautiful, yet handsome at the same time. Many netizens have been falling for her charms and even claimed that she could be the male lead character in a manga.
