YEAR END BRAND REPUTATION RANKING OF KOREAN ACTOR AND DRAMA
People like to know who is the hit or trend nowadays. We already know several familiar faces in Korean entertainment industry, some of them might become your bias. Well, the ranking switch a lot. The rankings were determined through a data analysis of the media coverage, participation, interaction, and community indexes of 50 actors who appeared in dramas in specific period of time.
MBC’s “Home Alone” (“I Live Alone”) continued its reign at the top of the list this month with a brand reputation index of 6,405,867 for November.
BLACKPINK topped the list for the sixth consecutive month with a brand reputation index of 5,678,123 for November. High-ranking phrases in their keyword analysis included “world tour,” “Instagram,” and “concert,” while their highest-ranking related terms included “perform,” “record,” and “advertise.” The group’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 85.91 percent positive reactions.

Park Eun Bin topped this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 8,356,154 for September. High-ranking phrases in the actress’s keyword analysis included “fan meeting,” “ad,” and “Netflix,” while her highest-ranking related terms included “happy,” “lovely,” and “awarded.” Park Eun Bin’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 90.84 percent positive reactions.
NewJeans came in at a close second with a brand reputation index of 5,412,686, marking an impressive 71.02 percent rise in their score since October.
SBS’s “Running Man” rose to second place with a brand reputation index of 5,257,822, marking a 22.27 percent increase in its score since October.
Lee Jong Suk took second place in the rankings with a brand reputation index of 4,508,422, while Kang Tae Oh came in at a close third with an index of 4,411,196.
IVE held onto their spot at third place with a brand reputation index of 4,395,657, marking a 6.08 percent increase in their score since last month.
KBS’s “National Singing Contest” took third place for November with a brand reputation index of 4,263,563, marking a 12.74 percent rise in its score since last month.
TWICE similarly maintained their position at fourth place with a brand reputation index of 2,664,683, while Girls’ Generation rounded out the top five for November with a total score of 2,430,151.
JTBC’s “Knowing Bros” (“Ask Us Anything”) and SBS’s “My Little Old Boy” rounded out the top five at fourth and fifth places respectively.
“Alchemy of Souls” stars Jung So Min and Lee Jae Wook rounded out the top five for September at fourth and fifth places respectively.
