TREASURE lost 2 of its members and YIREN IS BACK TO OVERGLOW AFTER 10 MONTHS HIATUS

In K-pop, a number of artists have ended their contracts with their original agency but chosen to continue as a group or remain part of the group’s promotional activities.

Bang Ye Dam And Mashiho Officially Leave their group , TREASURE and their agency, YG entertainment. On November 8, YG Entertainment released an official statement confirming that the agency has reached a mutual agreement with Bang Ye Dam and Mashiho to conclude their contracts.

Previously, The announcement by YG Entertainment led to further questions, with fans speculating whether the members were ending their contracts or leaving the group altogether. But it's all clear now.

Mashiho will be focusing on recovering his health, while Bang Ye Dam will work on pursuing his career as a producer. TREASURE will promote music as a 10-member group going forward.

Back in January, EVERGLOW‘s label Yuehua Entertainment concerned fans with the announcement that member Yiren would be returning to China until the end of February and taking a hiatus from group activities.

Unfortunately the fans finally hear a good news not like WJSN who lost 3 of its chinese members. Yiren was said to be taking the time to focus on her education and reconnect with her family, who she hadn’t seen since before the pandemic. While fans were glad that Yiren was being allowed such opportunities, it immediately led to concerns that she would end up leaving EVERGLOW completely.

Her return comes just after EVERGLOW announced a collaboration project with TheFatRat. They plan to release the song “Ghost Light” on November 18, making it their first comeback since “Pirate” came out nearly a year ago.
