On March 3 KST, the Wonju Branch of the Chuncheon District Court sentenced Amy, who was accused of violating the Narcotics Control Act, to 3 years in prison. People might remember Amy as ex girlfriend of shinhwa lee minwoo. Amy was sentenced to 3 years in prison after her third drug offense. Amy was previously deported for using drugs illegally, and after returning to South Korea, she committed her third drug offense. It's said she received 3 years in prison, which was heavier than the prosecution's sentence of 2 and a half years, and accomplice Oh was sentenced to 3 and a half years in prison. The court also ordered the two to complete 40-hour drug addiction treatment programs. Amy reportedly administered methamphetamine 6 times from the end of April to the end of August of last year. Though Amy denied the charges in court, the judge decided to give her a heavier sentence.
