1. Park Ji Hoo
Born in 2003, actress Park Ji-hoo is turning 20 this year. She plays the role of On-jo in “All of Us Are Dead”. After being trapped in her school where the zombie virus spreads, On-jo lost her best friends one by one. Although she is not an excellent student at school, On-jo boasts great survival skills and also discovers her leadership ability while coping with crises.
Park Ji Hoo is an artist who started his career in 2016 through the film Vanishing Time: A Boy Who Returned (2016). Only 18 years old, Park Ji Hoo has already made brilliant achievements as an artist.
Park Ji-hoo drew attention as a rising actress in Chungmuro (the Korean film industry) by expressing the calm daily life emotions of the 14-year-old middle school student Eun-hee, the main character in Park Ji-hoo’s debut film “House of Hummingbird”.
Thanks to her acting in this film, she won several Best New Actress awards including at the 2019 Asia Pacific Screen Awards and 2019 Cine 21 Awards.
Not only movies, Park Ji Hoo has also starred in several Korean dramas such as Sweet Revenge 2 (2018) and Beautiful World (2019). After successfully starring in the drama All of Us Are Dead, Park Ji Hoo will again greet fans in his latest acting project. After two and a half years, Park Ji-hoo drew global attention again. The number of her Instagram followers soared from 33,000 to 1.86 million.
Park Ji Hoo is confirmed to be starring in the drama Little Women with Kim Go Eun, Nam Ji Hyun and Wi Ha Joon. While in the film, he will co-star in the film Concrete Utopia with Lee Byung Hyun, Park Seo Joon, and Park Bo Young.
2. Yoon Chan Young
He was born on April 25, 2001 and made his debut as an actor when he was 12 years old. He made his acting debut in 2013 through the drama When a Man Falls in Love (2013). Yoon Chan Young is often lined up to play the main actor's youth in Korean dramas. He’s been recognized by various groups for his skills, and one of them is the SBS Drama Awards. In the 2019 ceremony, Chan Young won the institution’s Best Young Actor award for playing Lee Gi-seok in Doctor John and Go Min-jae in Everything and Nothing.
3. Cho Yi Hyun
You must be familiar with this artist, right? Cho Yi Hyun is a young Korean artist who is currently on the rise. In a 2019 interview with Korean broadcasting company JTBC, Cho Yi-hyun revealed that she was inspired to become a musical actress after watching Wicked in her third year of middle school.
She then worked hard to get into the Musical Theatre Department at Hanlim Multi Art School, an arts high school that also taught successful K-pop idols such as SHINee’s Taemin, TWICE’s Tzuyu and Dahyun, and f(x)’s Krystal.Cho Yi Hyun is widely known for his role as an intern in the drama Hospital Playlist 1 and 2. Successfully attracting public attention, he was lined up as the main actor in the drama School 2021. The actress realized that her skills were inferior compared to her peers at Hanlim as she couldn’t muster the courage to perform in front of others. During the first semester in her first year, Cho Yi-hyun came in 38th in her class of 40. But, according to her interview with Newsen, two of her classmates were absent for the practical exams.
The artist who was born on December 8, 1999, made his debut in 2017 through the KBS drama Witch's Court (2017). This Artist Company artist also co-starred in the dramas Sweet Revenge (2017), Less Than Evil (2018), My Country: The New Age (2019), and How to Buy a Friend (2020).
4. Park Solomon
Solomon grew up in Russia until he was 11 years old, when he finally moved to Korea after living abroad for more than a decade. Many do not know, Park Solomon is a South Korean actor who made his debut in 2014. He made his acting debut in the drama Bride of the Century (2014) by playing the teenage years of the main player, Lee Hong Ki.
Following his breakout role in All Of Us Are Dead, many viewers have been on the hunt to find out more about Park Solomon, whom fans have dubbed a lookalike of SHINee’s Minho.
One of the most intriguing facts about the rising actor is that he was born in Uzbekistan. He currently has dual citizenship, which means he’s a South Korean-Uzbek actor. This took many of his fans by surprise as it’s rare to find actors with dual nationality in Korea. Prior to making his acting debut, Solomon dreamt of becoming a K-pop idol. As he loved dancing on stage, he initially pursued singing and dancing. Solomon ultimately decided to pursue a career as an actor upon realising that singing isn’t his forte.
Park Solomon has several cameos in Korean dramas including Legendary Witch (2014), Doctors (2016) and Shopping King Louie (2016). He first became the main character in a Korean drama entitled Sweet Revenge (2017). In this drama, he collided with Kim Hyang Gi, Cha Eun Woo and Kim Hwan Hee.
All Of Us Are Dead marks the first project where the actor introduced himself using his stage name instead of his real name.
Not only South Korea, Park Solomon also has a career in the Chinese acting industry. He was lined up as the main character in the Chinese drama, Lookism (2019). This drama is based on the popular Korean webtoon of the same name by Park Tae Jun.
