IZONE member SAKURA will return to Korea in August 2021

Along with so many previous rumor or news about Sakura and Chaewon are joining into HYBE for their new girl group project, recent news from Japan media outlet inform the fans that Sakura indeed has sign exclusive contract with HYBE and now will depart to Korea as soon as this month.

Despite Hybe's stance remaining neutral and ambiguous, many fans of the agency knows that if they didn't deny, it means the rumor is true and they just can't confirm it yet. But to take notes, The rumor sparks that Sakura and chaewon are under different agency, although they're under hybe. Sakura sign under big hit, while chaewon will probably sign under source music, house of gfriend. So there is a possibility even if they indeed sign in with HYBE, they might not be able to debut under the same girl group project. But for now, the probability is higher for both sakura and chaewon to debut together, along with additional izone members (probably minju) + hyunjin from produce 48 contestant.

As fans of Sakura IZ*ONE already know, she is currently stepping down from her radio show, “Under the Tree with Sakura.” AKB48 member Yokoyama Yui, Nako and Hitomi are filling in for Miyawaki Sakura in the meantime.
