ANOTHER SINGER, LEE HI LEFT YG

It seems with current situation in YG after burning sun and the Ceo scandal, many artist from YG plan their exit route when their contract expired. After ONE, a solo singer, left YG just few months ago due to contract expiring, now, popular name, Lee Hi with known song like Breathe, also decide not to continue the contract with YG. It’s rational, with how YG manage their artist and often made them put into dungeon without any job, new song material or promotion. The 7 years long contract sign by lee hi to promote undee YG and it has ended this month.

Lee hi is best known as the runner-up of SBS' K-pop Star Season 1. She debuted with single "1, 2, 3, 4" on October 28, 2012 and reached number one with first week sales of 667,549 downloads. This year, her contract with YG is finally end. Previously, it was reported that Lee hi feel depressed with the lack of job and promotion she got from YG. Even her fans protested to YG about how YG neglect Lee hi and less management for her. Lee Hi dropped this on her IGS before "No One" release which made everyone prayed for a Bihi collab that eventually happened. (with BI)

YG entertainment has given their official statement regarding this news and admit that news as true. Lee Hi takes to Instagram to personally share news of her departure from YG Entertainment. Lee Hi recollects memories that she will cherish through her beginnings as an artist with YG and feel grateful with the opportunity she got there. Lee Hi notes that she will share good news soon in the New Year, probably meeting her fans soon.
