10 K DRAMA THAT COMES FROM URBAN LEGEND

Korean dramas and films with the fantasy genre are one of the favorite plots for KDrama Lovers.  Many of fantasy K drama is starred with popular actor with high budget! From these dramas and films, there are several films and dramas that are inspired by traditional Korean legends with super interesting plots. 1. As the title implies, the drama Goblin comes from the Korean legend Dokkaebi, which is a very powerful supernatural demon. Although on the legend, the  figure of a goblin often looks scary or ugly, but it's different from this drama.

2. The story line of the drama 49 Days also comes from a Korean legend, namely Angel of death. The title comes from a belief that within 49 days, a soul or ghost of dying people are still lingering in the world. Although the story is kinda bittersweet, but it present a twist and lesson to learn about life.

3. The virgin ghost character in the drama Oh My Ghost comes from the most famous legendary character in Korea, namely the ghost cheonyeo gwishin. With Kim sohyun as the main heroine, of course the acting skill is not doubt good. 

4. The story about the GOD of death is often used in many Korean films, for example Along With The Gods. One should live life to the fullest holding the good values that one should acquire. This comes from Korean belief after death. Three grim reapers escorts a man to the afterlife and will decide his fate based on what he had done when he was alive. Specifically, everyone must avoid the basic sins, BETRAYAL, VIOLENCE, FILIAL IMPIETY, MURDER, INDOLENCE, DECEIT and INJUSTICE

5. The shop characters in the drama Haechi have traits that are inspired by the legendary Korean creature named Haechi, the character of justice. Haechi, generally known as Haetae, is a lion-like horned creature that often appears in myths as a guardian against fire and disasters. This drama is based on the real life story of Yi Geum, Prince Yeoning, during his early years of reign.

6. Gumiho or nine tailed wolf is one of the favorite Korean legend characters, especially if you are handsome like in the drama My Roommate Is A Gumiho! A kumiho (gumiho) (Korean: 구미호; Hanja: 九尾狐, literally "nine-tailed fox") is a creature that appears in the folktales and legends of Korea. This drama give a different view for any other K drama with similar themes.

7. Legend of The Blue Sea starring Lee Min Ho is also inspired by traditional Korean legends. “The Legend of the Blue Sea” by Park Ji Eun, the screenwriter who brought us the record-breaking “My Love From the Star.” Starring Lee Min Ho as Heo Jun Jae and Jun Ji Hyun as Shim Chung, this show boasts of so many things that make it worthy of your time.

8. Tale of The Nine-Tailed also tells about the life of Gumiho, played by Lee Dong Wook

9. Drama Black also tells about an angel of death who enters the body of a detective.  Black is a detective possessed by the Grim Reaper. Ha-Ram can see shadows of death. These two struggle to save the lives of people, breaking the rules of heaven and falling in love with a mortal woman after inhabiting a human body.

10. Still about the gumiho, the drama Gu Family Book tells the story of a gumiho in the Joseon era who wants to turn into a human. Human/werefox half-breed Choi Kang Chi discovers the truth about his origins and searches for the mystical Gu Family Book, which holds the secret to becoming fully human.
