(G)I-DLE fans got a lawsuit for defamation for protecting the idols image. Previously, it was reported that (G)I-DLE to Continue as a 5-Member Group After Soojin Announced Hiatus Amid Bullying Scandal. On February 20, Soojin was accused of school bullying by an alleged victim (“A”) and the alleged victim’s older sister. Cube denied the claims and said that while Soojin had argued with the alleged victim, there had been no violence involved. In the post, Soojin wrote that although she had smoked a few times in school, she had not committed violence, taken people’s belongings, or ostracized others. Her denial comes two days after a woman, who identified herself as a sister of a victim of bullying, accused Soojin of forcing her sister and her friends to slap one another in the face and stealing money from them.

'A's sister previously alleged her younger sibling 'A' had been the victim of school bullying by Soojin, and since then, some fans of (G)I-DLE and other netizens have been posting malicious comments and slander about her.

The fans of Soojin trespass the law and attacking the sister by saying lies. About a month later on May 21st, a fan of Soojin who attack the sister has issued an apology after facing a lawsuit. He wrote, "Yes, I understood. It started as a fan's admiration but I did the wrong due to my immature and poor decision. Now I realize casting question after cherry-picking information, even though I was a third party, was slander and insult. I admit I was wrong. I apologize.

I am sorry. I sincerely apologize for inflicting second-hand harm on you and others. I should have been more considerate as an adult.

I hope this could appease you at least a little. I'm deeply regretting and I'm sorry.

I believe my action is enough to be deemed as cowardly and double-crossing. This is what I would have to be accountable for because I brought this on myself.

But I really wanted to say that I am regretting what I have done after realizing it was wrong and that I am sincerely sorry.

With this I think the bullying accusation is not just a fake accusation from a random people, but have a truth inside. Although we shouldn't only listen to one side.
