Many idols who is excel in variety show become an actor or actress nowadays. Although not many actor appears often in variety show, yet this actors give different image than usual. Precise as "higher level" than idols, many actor rarely appears on a show, maybe in several cases where they promote their own drama or movie, but they aren't usually a fix cast of a variety show. Well, it's because most of the time, the agency demands the actor to keep their image high, so many endorsement will come. Yet this actor broke all the rules and show what they're capable of and able to entertain viewers with their "unscripted" self.

1. Lee Seung Gi

Who doesn't know this guy? The multi talented actor who isn't only a good singer, but also a good entertainer too. Lee Seung Gi owes his acting career to many successful K-dramas, starting with his first lead role in “Brilliant Legacy.” Some of his other works include “My Girlfriend Is A Gumiho,” “Hwayugi,” and most recently “Mouse.” Yet, he also have a lot of portfolio as a Host in many TV show, like strong heart. His first appearance in a variety show was in “2 Days & 1 Night” for about five years, and also a member of “Master In the House” and “Busted!” makes him as entertainer king.

2. Kim Seun Ho

Kim Seon Ho who rise to stardom after appearing a popular netflix drama: Start up, is actually a cast in the fourth season of “2 Days & 1 Night” . Due to his appearance, in that variety show, he received the Rookie Award at the 2020 KBS Entertainment Awards. Kim Seon Ho make his debut in this show was very rewarding, mainly because of his genuine reactions that make moments on the show funnier than anticipated. Also, the transition of his character from being innocent and clueless to becoming flustered when things get out of hand is the epitome of amusement. It seems that despite as a musical actor, he keep a lot of talents hidden for years before eventually brought back to shine.

3. Lee dong wook

Lee Dong Wook merupakan salah satu aktor asal Korea Selatan yang piawai memainkan berbagai peran. The Grim Reaper actor in the Goblin drama has hosted awards and variety shows. Known as a very talented actor, apparently Lee Dong Wook also has the talent to be an MC. He even has his own tv show called Wook Talk (Because I Want to Talk). Wook Talk was released on December 4, 2019, and has a total of 12 episodes. Some of the guest stars who have been invited by Lee Dong Wook include his best friend who plays Goblin, Gong Yoo, and the legendary singer, BOA. He also appears in some of Running man episode and praised by Yoo jae suk that he is indeed have a variety geek.

3. Lee Kwang Soo

Lee Kwang-soo is a South Korean actor, entertainer, and model. He made his acting debut in the sitcom Here He Comes. Lee Kwang Soo is another “Running Man” alumnus. On top of his successful television and film works such as “It’s Okay, That’s Love,” “Confession,” and “Inseparable Bros,” the actor thrived as a cast member in “Running Man” before his recent departure. He also took part in the Netflix variety show “Busted!” as a main member during the first and third seasons, as well as being a guest in season two.

4. Song Ji hyo

Song Ji Hyo’s acting career has been flourishing since her earliest roles. As her first K-drama “Princess Hours” became an instant hit and an important pillar in the Korean wave, her other roles in sageuk productions such as “Jumong” and “A Frozen Flower” further boosted her popularity in the television and film industry. But many of you might be familiar with her as a cast of running man members. 5. Park Min young

In February 2013, Park graduated from Dongguk University with a degree in Theatre. She is best known for her leading roles in the television dramas “City Hunter” and whats wrong with secretary kim. Busted! was the first Netflix variety show to include an all-Asian cast in 2018. Unlike other shows, Busted! combines comedy with thrill and mystery, as its cast tries to solve a game revolving around a mystery. Park min young join into one of its member along with actor lee kwangsoo. Park Min Young also said, “I’m the type of person who in real life often wears my hair tied up and doesn’t have any make-up on. If I have the chance, I’d like to be on a reality variety show like ‘I Live Alone.'”
