2AM WILL BE COMING BACK SOON
As a second generation of Kpop fans, who don't know about them? The vocalist group from JYP entertainment, the counterpart of 2PM, no other than our beloved 2AM. There a a good news regarding the group from die hard loyal fans. The news said that there is a possibility of reunion comeback between all of the members. It was one of the two subgroups split from the eleven-member boy band One Day, the other being 2PM. 2AM consisted of Jo Kwon, Lee Chang-min, Lim Seul-ong and Jeong Jinwoon.
In March 2015, Seulong and Jinwoon decided not to renew their contracts with JYP Entertainment and would sign to other agencies. While Changmin ended his contract in August 2015, JYP Entertainment assured that the departures did not mean 2AM was breaking up Previously in September 22, 2017, Jo Kwon parted ways with JYP Entertainment. Jo stated that, despite his departure from JYP Entertainment, 2AM had not disbanded and that the other members had clauses in their individual contracts which would allow them to promote as 2AM in the future.
On May 20, Herald POP reported that 2AM was discussing the possibility of reuniting for a comeback. A source from Jo Kwon‘s agency Cube Entertainment revealed to MK Sports, “As far as we know, plans for 2AM’s reunion are being reviewed positively.”
Representatives from Jellyfish Entertainment, home to singer/actor Seulong, and from Mystic Story, home to singer/actor Jinwoon, also confirmed, "There are positive discussions."
As many of you know, 2AM consist of 4-members including Jo Kwon, Changmin, Seulong, and Jinwoon. Having debuted under JYP Entertainment in 2008, the ballad quartet is commonly referred to as 2PM's sibling group. It seems that so far, a representative from Changmin's side has not been reached for comments.
