But little did they know that SM artists are full rounded idols who is only debuted when they're ready after several years as trainee. Although there might be some cases where a trainee debuted under 1 year, but it's rare. Even the talented Jung sisters got more than 5 years before debut to their actual group. Although a member might hold certain position like main vocal, main dancer, main visual, and so on... but with all the high competition right now, it won't be surprised that the standard got higher and higher.
