Well, many top idols and actors have busy schedules that many can't even imagine, they work hard and the fans loved them because of that. Sometimes, they even got some health issues because of too much working and not enough rest, added with not so healthy diet/lifestyle. Here are some of your favorite idols/actors that has face critical health/mental issues:

1. Moon geun yeong

Moon Geun Young have Compartment syndrome, She had undergone four surgeries of acute compartment syndrome since it keeps recurring. Compartment syndrome is a painful condition that occurs when pressure within the muscles builds to dangerous levels. Fortunately, in her latest interview she told media that she can't wait to be back and work in a new drama project after she has gradually recovered from the disease.

2.Kim woo bin

After came to public about his relationship with his older girlfriend Shin Min Ah, he was diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer. But since it's still in the beginning stage, he took necessary and immediate treatment then postpone all his future activities until he recovers his health. Latest news, he shown in a good condition while attending a Buddha teaching with his co-actor Jo insung.

3. Yoon ah in

He was diagnosed with bone tumor by media and his agency clarified the report. Thankfully it's still benign. Because of this Yoon Ah In is classified as someone who will be re-examined by the Military Manpower Administration, and might be expelled from his military duty.

5. Jyj yoochun

Back then, when he was still in SM, Many of his fans knew that Yooc hun has experienced several asthma attack during his busy schedule as a member of TVXQ. It's why many criticize Yoochun decision to keep smoking even with his current health condition. On interview, he never thought that asthma is a life threatening disease that can make you expelled from military duty and only able to serve as public service worker.

6. Exo Lay

He has a unique rare disease of Hemophilia. Hemophilia is a rare disorder in which your blood doesn't clot normally because it lacks sufficient blood-clotting proteins. That's why when he accidentally hurted his fingers on stage, many of his fans were worried and shocked for him to see bleeding hand that was covered well by the member.

7. Izone choi yena

During Izone solo variety show, Izone Chu, it was revealed by Yena herself that she was diagnosed with Lymphoma when she was a kid. Her doctors told her parents to be ready every time since she might be dead, and always ready for the worst case to happen. Yet, she recovers from the disease and now debut as a member of popular girl group Izone from produce 48 mnet variety show.

8. Block b zico

He got heart surgery when he was a kid. As a result of this, he got weak heart and hernia. Fans can see his scar from that operation under his chest tattoo.

9. Suran

She got Breast cancer, and having one of her breast removed. She revealed publicly this shocking news on “Video Star,” for the first time. The hosts and guests sympathized with her and supported her as she shared this story for the first time.

10. Super junior Kyuhyun

Although it isn’t a disease, but in the beginning of his career as a super junior member, he has been in a life threatening situation when his career/dream as an idols might be ruined or even potentially be dead. He was involved in fatal car accident. The doctor even need to get his parent's consent to do the surgery because it's possible to cause death and lost the ability to sing.

Who said that only physical is what matter? We shouldn’t underestimate what a mental health issues can bring down a person, in this case, even took a life. Depression. Shinee jonghyun has shared his struggle fighting with depression with his fans and even tatoo "black dog" on his body, a symbol of depression.

12. IU

IU shared that she has eating disorder, or bullmia. It's on SBS’ “Healing Camp”. Prior to IU becoming the famous artist she is today, she admitted she struggled with her weight."It was an uneasy time. My heart felt empty, and I tried to fill the void with food. However, instead of feeling better, I became anxious and felt like I was lacking," she said."I would eat until I threw up. I had to receive treatment for it," she confessed.
