Nam Taehyun DUI case continue

On Thursday (13/4), the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul reported that Tae Hyun had been sent to the prosecution on March 23. The South Club band member has been charged with violating the Road Traffic Act.

This incident is not Nam Tae Hyun's first scandal in his career. Quoting Kbizoom, during his time as a public figure, Nam Tae Hyun has been abusive to fans, suggesting using drugs, being suspected of being a drug user, and currently driving under the influence of alcohol.

This past week, Nam Tae Hyun was caught by police drunk driving in Gangnam, Seoul with a blood alcohol level of 0.114%, which is enough for a license cancellation.

On March 8, the Seoul Gangnam Police Station officially announced that they were in the midst of investigating Nam Tae Hyun for drunk driving.

According to the police, at approximately 3:20 a.m. KST that day, Nam Tae Hyun opened his car door while parked on the roadside and hit a taxi that was passing by, breaking the taxi’s side mirror. Afterwards, he drove about 20 meters (approximately 66 feet).

When the police arrived at the scene of the accident, Nam Tae Hyun’s blood alcohol content was found to be 0.114 percent, a level high enough for his driver’s license to be revoked (0.08 percent or higher).

Although the police immediately booked Nam Tae Hyun on the spot, he was so severely intoxicated that they chose to have him return home, to be further questioned at a later time.

Before returning home, the singer told the police that he was waiting for a designated driver service at the time of the incident.
