SM NEW BOY GROUP IS COMING TO START 5TH GENERATION ALONG WITH ZB1
SM Entertainment has revealed their plans for their upcoming groups. The company announced a new NCT unit and the debut of several SM Rookies. In addition to that, the agency confirmed a new girl group will be debuting this year
What draws attention the most is that this is a rookie boy group that SM has put a lot of effort into. Launching a new boy group is a rare occurrence for SM as it has been approximately seven years since NCT’s debut in 2016. Although NCT U, NCT 127, NCT Dream debuted in 2016 and WayV debuted in 2019, they are all part of the NCT brand.
According to media outlet reports on July 12 KST, SM Entertainment's new 7-member rookie boy group has entered the final stages of preparations for an early September debut, its lineup will include former NCT members Sungchan and Shotaro, whose departures from the group were abruptly announced on Tuesday. The seven are currently filming an MV in the United States, hard at work for their impending debut. . Joining them will be two SM rookie members: Eunseok and Seunghan. Meanwhile, SM's new girl group is slated to debut sometime in the fourth quarter of 2023
