CHOI WOO SHIK COMPLIMENTS HIS CO STAR KIM DAMI

I had to lend my shoulder to Dami who is unfamiliar w/ the scene, but I don't think I'm capable enough. Even I wondered whether she'd want to lean on me.

It’s one of the statement from Choi woo shik in his recent interview. For his project on the witch together with kim dami, they practiced for about 3 months for their action scene before the start of filming. wooshik said it was a lot of fun.

In the same occasion, choi woo shik also shared his thought:

“She must have been nervous because she's a rookie, but she's so good at acting. I was surprised. I even asked, 'What did you do before this? Where did you come from?'. I was really curious. When I see Kim Dami, I get reminded of myself when I was a rookie. I learned and felt a lot while watching her.“

“ I told Dami too. I felt a lot of pressure doing ‘Set Me Free’ (his first lead). But Dami's acting for the 1st time (lead role) in front of a camera & she didn't shake at all even tho she had a lot of pressure. I was very envious & amazed to see that.”

“I wonder what will happen when Dami gets more experience later on. I think she (Dami) will grow into a bigger monster in a few years.”

Will Wooshik join Witch 2?

“If he gives me a call, I'll do it right away. There's a chance I'll be revived *laughs*. The director hasn't asked me to join him yet. But I still feel like there should be someone next to the witch. I want it to be me." Said the actor.

Our Beloved Summer features Choi Woo Shik and Kim Da Mi's chemistry as a couple who reunite after breaking up because the documentary they shot during high school went viral. In an interview, Choi Woo Shik admitted that he accepted the offer to star in the romantic comedy because of Kim Da Mi.

The chemistry of Choi Woo Shik and Kim Da Mi also looks natural in the Korean drama Our Beloved Summer. Because the two became friends after being paired in the 2018 film The Witch: Subversion.
