SOME SICKENING AND SAD EVENTS THAT HAPPENED IN KPOP

 1. GOO HARA STOLEN WEALTH

As you may know that after the sadden news of Hara passing, because of suicide, many people begin to fight for her inheritance. As far as both of the parents suddenly appears to fight for the wealth of Hara and her house get into a robbery. According to the Seoul Gangnam district police on April 28th KST, they have ended the investigation into the theft back in December last year. As previously reported, someone broke into Hara's house in Gangnam, Seoul, in January 2020. The police embarked on the investigation after receiving a claim from late Hara's brother in March 2020, but they have closed the case without finding a perpetrator on December 17, 2020.

The police said they couldn't obtain additional CCTV footage near late Hara's apartment because the report was filed to the police 2 months after the incident. "It was impossible to find the culprit just with video footage from the victim's side", the police said. The thing is, based on the CCTV, police assume that it was done by someone who already know well about the house and maybe a close relative.

Back on December 17, 2020, the high-profile lawsuit involving the family members of the late singer/actress Hara came to an end, with the court ordering Hara's father to claim 6 parts of the star's fortune, while the mother would claim 4 parts, instead of the traditional 5:5.

Simultaneously, Hara's older brother Goo Ho In has actively sought to pass a new law coined as the 'Goo Hara Act', a law declaring that parents who failed to fulfill their duties of proper child-raising should have no claims to a child's fortune or property after the child's passing.

The procedure through which a parent may lose their right to claim their child's fortunes consists of evaluating the parent for potential violations in fulfilling their parental roles, neglecting the child, demonstrating laziness, or committing crimes including abuse and mistreatment. If an individual is suspected of such, relatives of the child may request an investigation into a parent's right to claim the remaining fortunes. If found guilty of any of the above, the 'Goo Hara Act' will effectively ban any parents from unfairly claiming their child's possessions in court.

As we might know that Hara's parent already neglect her and her brother since kid and only appear now when they want an alimony.

2. IZONE DISBANDMENT

Iz*One launched in 2018 after being put together on the reality program Produce 48. Out of nearly 100 contestants, the 12 women that ended up comprising the band were chosen, and in the last episode, their band name was revealed. By coming out on top of the series, Iz*One was given a contract that was expected to last two and a half years, with the possibility of extending after that time eclipsed. Sadly, no extension will be picked up.

According to Forbes, their disbandment marks K-Pop’s “first great loss” of 2021. Fans crowdfunding over a million dollars to relaunch the group is any indicator. After being put together in 2018 on the reality competition show Produce 48, the 12-member group IZ*ONE went on to produce multiple chart topping hits in the following two and a half years.

t was clear from the get-go that Iz*One had something special, and fans around the world reacted positively to their incredible musical output. The group was recently caught up in scandal, as it was revealed that producers at Mnet rigged the voting to choose which contestants would end up winning. That’s a shame, as it tarnished their brand and likely spelled the end for the talented musicians and dancers in the group, who now all must find new bands, go out on their own or possibly leave performing altogether.
