KPOP IDOLS WHO IS KNOWN TO HAVE STRONG VOCAL

Being a kpop idols could showcase a person's talent, either it's dancing, variety show, mc-ing, singing or even acting. Anyway, Let's talk more about the singing skill that idols SHOULD have, although, let's be honest, not every idols is a singer, many have a decent vocal, but compare to professional singer, they are lacking. Yet, it isn't the case for this idols. These several idols below, is an example of IDOLS SINGER, who could be an artist as well, since they create / write their own song.

Without further ado, here are the list:

1. KIM TAEYON

The kid leader of SNSD, legendary girl group of South Korea. If we have BTS now as the Legendary icon of KPOP, SNSD is the previous generation legendary icon. Although they might not succeed to break US market, but their achievement is in different level with other kpop group in their prime times. Kim Taeyeon who is a solo career as singer now, known by fans to have soothing sweet voice that can melt your heart. One of her famous ost OR Solo song included IF and I.

2. APINK EUNJI

Idols turn actress, yet she also bring a lot of potential in her singing career. Eunji is known as the vocal of her group, APINK.

3. EXO CHEN

One of EXO members phenomenal singer, he hits those high notes with such ease that you would think he would have a hard time reaching the low ones. Noone would ever tried to battle high notes with him.

4. TVXQ CHANGMIN

SM sure has a higher standard, either on the visual as well as the talents. The maknae of TVXQ has proven his fans that he could hit any notes flawlessly.

5. EXO Baekhyun & Do

For me they have a lot of potential and could be the main vocal of EXO. (In preferences, people might choose their voices over Chen). Baekhyun and DO might have different style, yet they are sure able to captivating the hearts of a lot of girls.

6. BTS Jin and Jungkook

The pioneer of vocal in BTS group. Although I might say every each individual of BTS is a singer/rapper, there is not black holes at all. Let me say it's just my preferences.

7. GOT7 JB

JB has a versatile voice that he adjusts to fit both a smooth R&B style and the explosive style of K-pop. JJ Project’s “Tomorrow, Today” is a good song that demonstrates his wide range, as he’s in charge of the lowest part of the song as well as the high ad-libs near the end.

8. Day 6 Young K

Young K sounds like a completely different person depending on the pitch he sings or raps in. Take DAY6’s “Congratulations” as an example.

9. Bigbang Taeyang

He is able to support a bit of his lower range down to E3 and D3 at times. Among Bigbang member, there is no discussion that he is the best of the best (means that every big bang member is a good singer too). His voice is that of a tenor, which in theory should allow for easier vocal runs to come about. Taeyang draws a lot of influence from R&B music and hence often sings vocal runs, but they lack a lot in terms of note separation and pitch accuracy, often hitting flat or off key notes, or simply sliding through notes in a vocal run without actually emphasizing each individual pitch in his vocal runs.

10. Redvelvet Wendy

Wendy has a style of singing that is heavily based in the R&B/Soul genre which is very much known for its complex and extravagant melismas, therefore, naturally, Wendy developed her ability to do runs. All that Red Velvet’s Wendy cares about is singing, and she has covered songs by the likes of Lady Gaga, Alicia Keys and Pixie Lott
