Kangin had made the public excited with his behavior. Because he was involved in a physical fight in a bar in the Gangnam area, Seoul, on September 16, 2009.

Kang ji hwan
On 9 July, South Korean actor Kang Ji-hwan was arrested at his home in Gwangju on suspicions of sexual assault against two female employees in his talent agency.

The 42-year-old actor allegedly invited the two female employees (referred to by local media as 'A' and 'B') to his place for more drinks after a company dinner. The alleged sexual assault occurred when A and B fell asleep at Kang's home, and were eventually awakened by an intoxicated Kang's sexual advances. Since then, a police investigation was launched to uncover what had transpired between the two victims and Kang.

Yesterday, on 15 July, Kang's legal team released a statement on behalf of the actor admitting to all the alleged sexual assault charges against him. His statement is as follows:

"This is Kang Ji-hwan. I admit to all charges and I bow my head and sincerely apologise to the victims that I have hurt greatly with my irreparable wrongdoing. I want to also apologize to everyone that I have concerned because of this. I will accept punishment for my crimes and make atonement. According to Soompi, KBS’ Entertainment Weekly aired an episode that focussed on the testimonies of the two victims in the unfortunate affair.

The episode saw the victims’ legal representative talking about what the two had said about that particular night. The representative also revealed screenshots of text messages that Kang Ji Hwan’s manager had sent the two. They included statements such as, “This will end as soon as an article with an ‘official apology’ comes out” and “If you guys go to court and you’re photographed, what are you going to do about that?”

The two were threatened as well with: “We have evidence that is damaging to you (the victims). Kang Ji Hwan has lost everything. He’s already going to be punished, so he isn’t afraid of anything. The things you’re going to be dealing with will be even scarier from now on.”

According to the representative, the two women had gone to Kang Ji Hwan’s home for a farewell party for one them and that eight people were there initially. But after everyone else had left, the actor kept them around and told them that he had something to say to them. He added that he would call a taxi for them at a later time.

Kang then opened a bottle of champagne and started playing a drinking game where he asked them sexual questions that they didn’t want to answer, so they had to drink instead.

The representative added that they later went to sleep in a room by themselves but, “one of them suddenly felt that someone was touching her body. When they opened their eyes, Kang Ji Hwan was there without any clothes on.” The legal representative added that the victims plan to take legal action against the malicious comments surrounding them.

Apparently, reporters from the show had actually gone to Kang’s house to verify the victims’ claims that they did not have cell phone reception at the time. The show confirmed this when they found it hard to get a signal since the house was situated in a remote location. Kang is currently suspected of sexual assault against the two outsourced staff members who were at his home on July 9.

Police had detained the actor on the same night at his home in Gwangju on suspicions of rape and a warrant was filed for his arrest on July 12. The actor admitted to the majority of charges on July 15 and the police have said that they intend to forward his case to the prosecution with a recommendation for indictment.

Se7en

More than three years after being embroiled in an illegal massage parlor scandal, K-pop singer Se7en has taken to social media to debunk the rumor and insist he is innocent. "It was mentally stressful to ponder from yesterday where to start," the star, 32, said on Instagram Friday morning. "I have let myself believe that fans will someday find out the truth. But, apparently, it turned out to be my fault not to have explained myself earlier. I was reluctant to speak up."

The star, whose name is Choi Dong-wook, was doing mandatory military duty in the city of Pocheon, Gyeonggi Province, in 2013 when he left the camp without permission with other celebrity colleagues and allegedly visited an illegal massage parlor. Photos of him and his friends outside the venue were spread online. "Media reports had people believe that I had visited an illegal massage parlor to receive a sex service," the singer said on SNS. "It's not true. I first visited two Thai-Chinese style massage parlors that day but they were closed. Then I visited another place where I could get a massage by a blind masseuse.

Se7en took to social media on Friday to debunk a rumor from more than three years ago that he had visited an illegal massage parlor while on mandatory military duty. "But then I realized people might misunderstand me being here for an obscene reason, so I left the shop."

The Ministry of National Defense investigated Se7en's case, which developed into a huge scandal involving other celebrity soldiers charged with unethical conduct outside camps. The star said a month-long investigation had cleared him of the allegation of visiting an illegal massage parlor and only charged him with leaving the camp without permission."It was my apparent wrongdoing that I left the camp without permission," Se7en said, promising he will not disappoint his fans again.

Even though the artist’s name had not been identified, South Korean media found that the artist ended her contract with her agency on February 1st, 2016. In addition, the media also displayed a blurred image from the agency’s official website. Through the blurred image, netizens noticed that the image was similar to the appearance of Cube Entertainment’s official website.

Again, G.Na fitted the description, as she had released her debut mini-album on July 14th, 2010, and she was famous for her sexy and glamorous body. The “C” also referred to G.Na’s Korean family name, Choi. According to a source from the prosecutors’ office, there were three other artists who were summoned for questioning related to the prostitution scandal. The names of four women involved in the prostitution scandal were recorded and available through the Seoul Central District Court’s database online. According to the names that came up in regards to the prostitution scandal, the four artists were listed as Lee Ha-rin of the girl group Sugar, G.Na (Choi Ji-na), aspiring celebrity Lee Min-ji, and former beauty pageant contestant Choi Eun-young.
