15 Kpop idols who have a debt because of their parents and came from Poor family background
Kpop is going global and now many agency even recruited and debuted members from someone outside Korea. Let's name a few like Blackpink Lisa, 2PM Nichkhun, NCT Ten, etc. Some of the idols come from a wealthy background, and some not. In this article, I want to show you some idols who got succeed even if they came from some financially trouble family background or even without parents.
1. Mamamoo wheein
The MAMAMOO member’s father had operated a company that produced things like containers, portable bathrooms, and caravans. The writer’s father operated a freight company that was in charge of transporting cargo. The writer said that they had taken legal action for the debt of 20 million won (about $17,700) but the MAMAMOO member’s father had still not taken responsibility. Later the same day, MAMAMOO’s agency, RBW, released an official statement on behalf of Wheein, whom it was believed the post was about.

“My parents got divorced in 2012 but up until some months ago, my mother had had to live with the reputation for being a delinquent borrower. We have lived apart from my father since the divorce, but my mother and I have still had to deal with the damage that he caused before.
“A few years ago, in my last communication with my biological father, I asked him to try not to cause any more pain to my mother and me and that we should lead our separate lives from now on. He has tried contacting me several times since but I never picked up. I have had no form of exchange nor contact with him for many years. At present, I have no idea where he lives, what he does, or how he’s living.
“Because of this situation, the accusations that have arisen have taken us very much aback. I will confer with my family and work to resolve the situation as much as we can. I apologize to my MAMAMOO members and apologize to everyone for causing concern with this controversy.”

According to an online allegation, Rain's parents, who owned a rice-cake shop in the 1980s, borrowed 17 million won worth of rice and 8 million won in cash. They did not pay it back, citing financial difficulties and eventually ran away. The star’s management agency Rain Company issued an official announcement to check and clarify this issues and will give settlement if proven true. The case is closed.

Microdot’s parents lived in a small village in rural South Korea while running a cow farm. Since it was a small village, the locals were all close to each other, helping each other out when needed. They stated that Microdot’s parents asked to borrow money on top of asking to make loans on their behalf. And according to the locals, the rapper’s parents suddenly sold the cow farm and vanished one night.
Rapper Microdot then released an official apology, told media he and his family will corporate with the police investigation and stepped outside from entertainment industry.
