Korean Entertainment UPDATE for APRIL 2022

It's a fast recap of what Happened in Korean entertainment industry this past weeks.

1. Le sserafim will soon debut

Hybe or Source music has posted several teaser photos and videos to get interest from public as well as their full rundown agenda. They will be expected to debut in early May.

2. Sweet home will definitely get second season, Arthdal Chronicles too.

Two of box office budget Korean drama will soon get their second season. Although some sad news comes from Arthdal Chronicles, as the two main couple might not continue to participate in the new season because of schedule conflict. Lee joongi and Shin Sekyung will replace Song Jongki and Kim Jiwon. Jang dong gun confirms that he will still participate in the drama. On February 21, a source from Studio Dragon confirmed, “The second season of ‘Arthdal Chronicles’ is being prepared with an aim to film this year. The cast, broadcast timing, and platform have not been confirmed yet.”

Kim Young Hyun and Park Sang Yeon, who wrote the first season, will be in charge of the script, while Kim Kwang Sik, the director of the movie “The Great Battle,” will be in charge of directing.

3. Ex girl group member of Hello venus is getting married next month with her former manager. Yeoreum is now the second member of Hello Venus to tie the knot, following member Lime (Joo Hwa) in March. During Lime's wedding ceremony, Yoo Na Gyeol caught the bride's bouquet.

4. 2ne1 and Aespa performed in '2022 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.'

2NE1 performed on the main stage as part of CL/88Rising's set.Aespa will also be a part of 88Rising's set but on the 2nd week. The sudden reunion of 2NE1 surprised Kpop lovers around the world, especially from second generation lovers and make them trending on twiter.

5. YoonA and Junho will be working together.

“King the Land” is about a chaebol heir named Goo Won who cannot stand fake smiles. He meets Cheon Sa Rang who is always equipped with a bright smile even when she does not want to due to the nature of her profession, and together, the two set out to find happy days in which they can sincerely smile brightly together. King the Land refers to a VVIP business lounge, which is a place of dreams for hoteliers. “King the Land” (working title) confirmed that 2PM’s Lee Junho and Girls’ Generation’s YoonA will be starring in the new rom-com drama together.
