KOREAN ACTRESS WHO PLAYED THE SAME CHARACTERS IN EVERY DRAMA

Even in western movie industry, there are some actors who are like Dwayne Johnson Who only played as himself in any movie he cast to.

This article doesn’t mean to roast their acting skill, indicating whether their acting skill is bad or not, but only to judge more about their versatility in acting. You might not agree with what I’ve concluded and it is fine, but here is several Korean actor and actress that I found always act as themselves in every new project:

1. Park minyoung

From her first breakthrough as an actress with the drama Sungkyungkwan scandal and city hunter to her newer drama like forecasting love and weather. Somehow, her character that she played, especially if the genre is about office lady: remember war of the sun, secretary kim, her private life, etc have similar character. How she act and behave mostly the same. A little bit careless, yet upright and reliable colleague.

2. Park Shin Hye

South Korean superstar Park Shin Hye is the latest bride that's sparked some online craze, with her recent wedding ceremony with actor Choi Tae Joon. The popular actress has been featured in over 20 dramas since 2003 and is considered one of South Korea's highest paid actresses. From action movie to romantic drama, PSH has shown outstandint acting, yet for me her potrayment of her character is somehow similar. A little bit tomboy, strong willed and independent woman.

3. Song Hye Kyo

Maybe on her early acting career, song hye kyo have shows more about versatility. Yet, nowadays any drama she starred in always represent herself, and not a refreshing new character in drama. She shows a bit of self centeric successful woman, who can be independent but still searching for some romance. In short, she showcast herrself. This might be the reason of her marriage failure. With some high-profile divorces take months or even years to be finalised, Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo's marriage officially came to an end just about four weeks after Joong Ki filed for divorce on June 26.

4. Shin Se‑kyung

It was announced on July 5 that Shin Se Kyung has signed with IU's agency EDAM Entertainment as the second star under the agency following IU. Actress Shin Se Kyung ended her contract with the Namoo Actors agency after 19 years. Under namoo actors, she has landed so many main lead character in several drama. The actress often get criticized with her acting, as somewhat dull and boring, not expressive genuine feeling. Her character often potray a damsel in distress.

5. Park So Hyun

On April 14, radio show 'Park So Hyun's Love Game' prepared a 20th anniversary special, and 20-year DJ Park So Hyun held a wedding ceremony on tonight's episode. She expressed, "I devoted my 20s, 30s, and 40s to radio. They said they would do this like an actual wedding, so I wore a backless wedding dress and tiara. People who followed her drama, might catch up the similarity of every character she starred in.

6. Go ah ra

Go Ara is a South Korean actress and model. She is best known for starring in the television series Sharp, Heading to the Ground, Reply 1994, You're All Surrounded, Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth, Black, Ms. Hammurabi and Haechi. Often praised by her beautiful look, yet she often act as herself in any drama she landed to.
