ACTRESS WHO OFTEN PRAISED BY HER BEAUTY & THE REASON WHY?
We know that in term of visual, South Korea adore face/ look so much more than any other country. It’s no wonder that the actor and actress who represents the ideal image of a person looks almost perfect and follows the beauty standard of South Korea. With pale looking skin, thin body, v shape face, long straight hair and s line figure, in general there is no ugly Korean actress, especially the main lead.
But when you look at the kinda similar pretty face, why one actress gets more compliments than the other actress, although both are beautiful in their own standard?
It takes me several years to see through this phenomenon. For me, all of the Korean actresses are beautiful, yet in variety or talk show, only some get praised with her beauty a lot, while others not so much. The reason I can get is it depends on their visual before their debut and their brand reputation or good image. In so e occasion, their agency might help to boost and create the image of the actress, making them a beauty.
One obvious reason is because Of plastic surgery. You can become pretty if you have money and will (to maintain the thin figure that Korean people adore). I begin to realize that some of beautiful Korean actress who have less brand reputation ranking, even after nailed several project with high rating, eg Park min young consider less than the like of Song hye kyo or Kim tae hee. For me, Park min young is as beautiful as them, not until I found her before debut picture. (This article doesn’t try to diss her as actress). But, in due respect, you can see the huge difference between her current look and pass look. And it’s clearly not puberty, it’s plastic surgery. (You can deny as much as you want but she also admit to get plastic surgery in one of her interview). And now I understand why some of the actress get more compliments than the other.
It’s actually applied to Korean actor too. Some actor who is handsome since young like song joong ki or wonbin praised a lot. There are two types: natural beauty and someone who is handsome/pretty already, yet still get some retouch in several part and becomes more beautiful.
Back to topic, after some analysis, I think this is the list of Korean actress who often get praised by her beauty:
1. krystal Jung.
Not like her sister, jessica jung who get roasted by her haters / antis for plastic surgery, for krystal even she get antis for herself to, but they aren’t able to diss her look/beauty. Her hater only comes out and attacked her cold personality and bad behavior. In short, not even her antis can diss her look! She has shown her childhood photos, and none is ugly looking. She only shows that she is a natural beauty and has been beautiful since young.
2. Kang hana
She often get a role of beauty in her drama project, I wonder why. Of course we all have preferences, so even when I think she isn’t that pretty like the character of her drama (from bite sisters, start up and my roommate is a gumiho), I begin to wonder why. She isn’t ugly, but if you look at other Korean actress, for me she seems average. This thought disappeared after I saw her before debut picture. Now I know why people compliments her! She is indeed a natural beauty.
3. Song hye kyo
The most famous natural beauty, song hye kyo. Song Hye Kyo has been in the entertainment industry for two decades now, and she’s always looked stunning.
4. Kim tae hee
When it comes to the most stunning Korean actresses with timeless visuals, Kim Tae Hee is definitely the first name that pops up in many people's minds. Bi Rain's wife has a face with a golden ratio and perfect, delicate features. She is even dubbed Korea's “national beauty treasure”.
5. Baek suzy
She is a well-known Korean singer, actress, and model. Her real name is Bae Su Ji. She was born on October 10, 1994. Before becoming an official model she was an online shopping model. Since her debut, many people already compliments her beauty.
