APINK Chorong and Her Scandal of Bullying

Previously, in the middle of "SCHOOL BULLYING SCANDAL" that target many entertainers and individual from the domino effect of a volley players, Another unknown individual came out and attacking Apink Chorong, accuse her as a bully. One of her old friend, known only by her last name, Kim—went public with her allegations, accusing Chorong of having slapped her face and kicked her in the shin when they were students. As explained by Kim, Chorong's bullying took place in 2018. Kim claims he was attacked by Chorong and his friends. It started when Kim accidentally hit Chorong on the road in Sachang-dong. Kim also claims that Chorong's friends attacked her on the head, shoulders and back, causing her face to be swollen and bruised all over her body.

On April 1, Apink’s agency Play M Entertainment announced that they had taken legal action against a childhood friend of Chorong who had allegedly been threatening her with false claims.

Kim, who revealed that she intended to file a countersuit against Play M Entertainment for their false accusations, claimed that Chorong had initially admitted to the violence before later taking back her words and changing her story. She also released photos of Chorong drinking when she was still a minor.

In an interview with MBN, Kim revealed a screenshot photo of his Instagram DM message with Chorong as well as photos of Chorong's past. He asked Chorong to make a formal apology for his past actions.

On April 6, Chorong posted a statement on Instagram in which she apologized for her underage drinking, but reaffirmed her innocence regarding the accusations of school violence.

She added: In regards to the matter that recently became known [to the public], it began at the end of February and has been continuing for about a month. During that time, I made a lot of effort to try to communicate amicably, but it did not end up working out that way, which I find very unfortunate. I read the reports and interviews related to me that were published yesterday.

I never, at any point, slapped Ms. Kim’s face like she claimed, took off her clothing, or committed violence against her. In regards to this matter, I will do my utmost to completely prove my innocence through the testimony of those who were present at the time and transcripts of my phone call(s) with Ms. Kim.

For outsider point of view, I think it's more likely a brawl or fight between old friend that become an enemy later. I mean, from where Kim could have photos of them drinking if they're not friend before?Thinking that Kim has been bullied by all Chorong's friend seems a bit far fetched without a solid proof that shown they're known with each other.

That friend you always hangout with and play with since your younger days turned out to have been jealous of you all along. I experienced that and there is no greater betrayal. They will smear campaign you because you ignored their manipulation. There were already signs that this "friend" could be harboring ill feelings towards you. You need to realize that and stay away from that kind of person.
