THE SEQUEL "THE WITCH 2" IS GOING TO BE MADE, OFFICIAL RELEASE FOR 2021

Two members that run the lab, Dr. Baek and Mr. Choi, consider her dead. The girl collapses on a farm, where she is discovered by its owner, Mr Goo. Mr. Goo and his wife nurse the girl back to health and adopt her.

The film opened in South Korea on June 27, 2018. During its debut weekend, the film finished in first place, ending It sold more than 735,000 tickets from 1,117 screens from Friday to Sunday, with US$6 million gross during its opening weekend. Witch 2 title was planned to be “The Collision” [2018], but it was postponed as the movie director is creating another movie. There is a rumor A dead character may appear on Witch2 and it will focus more about Jayoon (the main character) try to find her origin.

The season 2 of the 2018 film 'The Witch: Subversion' is finally coming! NEW decided to invest and distribute the said film. Lee Jong Suk has been confirmed to make a special appearance on 'The Witch: Part 2' after his military discharge. He previously worked with Director Park Hoon Jung for the movie 'VIP'. Unfortunately, since the schedule are clashed with the previous main character actress, Kim dami, who just finished her new movie "soulmate", thus make her unable to be the main character for this part 2. Witch 2 plans to begin shooting this December with bigger budget.

The lead for 'Witch 2' was chosen through an audition. As such, Jo Minsoo & Kim Dami will have a brief but strong appearance in the movie to sooth fans wishes. The season 2 with the same action and mystery genre is expected to continue Ja Yoon’s journey in finding the truth about herself.

Moreover, as the film’s distributor has not been fixed following the Warner Bros. Korea’s recent withdrawal from Korean film industry, NEW decided to invest and distribute speeding its preparation.
