2. Sweet home

The structure of Sweet Home, based on a comic of the same name by Kim Carnby and Hwang Young-chan, is more or less the same as many of the post-apocalyptic shows we’ve seen in recent years. We’re introduced to a group of disparate personalities, all of whom have their own struggles in their lives, and then the zombies or monsters or whatever mutant life forms threaten the remainder of humanity show up. The special effect, cinematography, story flow and all the actors acting are all great. It’s a masterpiece especially for people who is fine to see some blood and moster.

3. Start up

Start Up tells the story of Nam Joo Hyuk, Suzy, Kim Sun Ho, and Kang Ha Na who are involved in the warehouse of a Silicon Valley-style start-up company, Sandbox, in order to achieve success.

Aside from the cute romantic triangle story, there were very interesting subject matters at its core -- cutting-edge image recognition technology (and its applications for the visually impaired or self-driving cars), and management of businesses in development.

It's a good drama and premise with some glaring holes in script writing that take away from what you sense to your core is a experience that should be so much better than that.

4. Crash landing on you

Crash Landing On You tells the story of a wealthy heiress (Son Ye Jin) that crash lands in North Korea while paragliding. She then meets a North Korean officer (Hyun Bin) who tries to help her by hiding her, and they eventually fall in love. Kingdom works well because it tells an interesting story woven around the zombies, and it's a welcome change from "post-apocalyptic group X goes to war with post-apocalyptic group Y while zombies attack both sides. The show is pretty dense, but it's so exciting, and, at only six episodes, the plot moves swiftly as the characters find themselves deeper and deeper in trouble. Think Game of Thrones meets The Witcher meets the good bits of The Walking Dead. If that's not enough to convince you, here is a list of cool things this show has in it: Sick swordfighting (it's set in the 1600s, so not everyone had guns or knew how to use them yet). People in cool hats (all the costumes are amazing). People shooting flaming arrows at stuff. People galloping horses through city gates and immediately yelling a dire message at other people.
