As people knows that more and more Kpop idols, especially who have experience in this industry for more than 5 years or their group has disbanded turn into acting as their career change. Since many people believe that acting industry will give more cf or endorsement deals and longer career than being an idol. Here though, are several kpop idols who has not only a pretty face, BUT ALSO, great acting skill that makes them successful. Their hard work to smooth their acting skill bear a sweet fruit and now they're no longer called as idols-actor, but as an actor themselves. MANY new fans even knows them as actor or actress than knowing them as singer or idols.

1. IU

Not only have beautiful voice with good range, IU is also a great actress. Her acting in K Drama Mister, give her compliments from many producers and expert. With the success of Hotel del luna, as main character of the story, IU name is sky rocketing. Her brand power ranking is now on top tier, both as popular respectable singer, as well as the actress. IU has released a total of four studio albums and nine extended plays in her career, scoring three number-one albums and twenty-four number-one singles on the Gaon Music Charts. One of the best-selling solo acts in the group-dominated K-pop industry.

2. Seo Hyun jin

After her group was being disbanded, she continue her acting career and nailed several main lead role. Seo Hyun-jin debuted as the main vocalist of South Korean girl group M.I.L.K. in 2001 and continued until the group disbanded in 2003. Thanks to her beautiful appearance and fluid acting, many people begins to love her more. Nowadays, she is loved by many and her drama often get high rating. She often appears in many romantic comedy drama.

3. Bae Suzy

She is the most popular member out of Miss A, there is even a rumor that suzy once bullied by her teammate who envious with her success. Soon after Miss A disbandment, Suzy career as an actress is sky rocketing. She thanks to her mentor, JYP and still maintaining relationship with him even after her departure from JYP. She successfully laid a main role in many k drama. Her lates K drama is startup, who is well talked by many international viewers/ fans.

4. Park Hyung sik

Hyungsik was once an idol, under Z:EA with other 9 members. Unfortunately the group didn't get enough fame to maintain their longevity. In April 2017, Park officially signed with United Artists Agency (UAA) after deciding not to renew with his former agency, Star Empire Entertainment. He isn't the only one, as many other members also decide not to renew their own contract. Unofficially, ZEA is disbanded. In December 2017, he starred in a romantic short film, Two Rays of Light alongside Han Ji-min. In 2019, Park made his feature film debut in the legal film Juror 8. This role won him the Best New Actor award at the 39th Korean Association of Film Critics Awards in November 2019. After this, his acting career is sky rocketing, and now he is a capable main lead. He is currently serving in army.

5. Siwan

Just like his teammate, Hyunsik who decide no to renew his contract, Siwan also pursue acting career after his group is somewhat disbanded. Being the same label mate as hyungsik, Siwan also has a great acting skill. As an actor, he is best known for starring in the film The Attorney (2013), and the cable series Misaeng: Incomplete Life (2014), which were both successful in the box office and ratings.

6. Do

The most promising career as actor from Exo, is no other than Do. Although Chanyeol is a good actor as well, but DO IMO is on different level. He has successfully laid a role in many popular drama as well as movie. Apart from his group's activities, D.O has also starred in various television dramas and movies such as Pure Love (2016), My Annoying Brother (2016), Positive Physique (2016), Room No.7 (2017), 100 Days My Prince (2018), Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds, and Swing Kids (2018). In May 2019, D.O. was awarded V Live Popularity Award at the 55th Baeksang Arts Awards. He is currently finish his mandatory enlistment in thearmy.

7. Cha eun woo

Cha Eun-woo, is a South Korean singer, actor, and model under the label of Fantagio. He is a member of the South Korean boy group Astro. His perfect appearance and GODLY visual make him a main lead in many K drama.

8. Kwon Nara Hello venus

She was struggle before to get as much as job in K drama, yet after her successful breakthrough by showing how she is capable off, now she even got a main role. She is known by her stage name Nara, is a South Korean singer and actress. She is best known as one of the original members of the South Korean girl group Hello Venus. After her group disbandment, she focus on acting career. Her perfect figure and astonishing acting, make her what she is today. In 2020, she starred in JTBC drama Itaewon Class, based on the webtoon of the same name. Itaewon class was a commercial success and became the seventh highest-rated Korean dramas in cable television history.

9. Rowoon

Just like cha eunwoo, Rowoon appearance is like a top of the world. His perfect visual as well as figure make him a great main lead in many romantic k drama. He is a member of the K-pop boy band SF9 as Lead Vocalist. He used to be a model too, so no wonder his figure is perfect. With his sweet voice, he charms many female audiences. On May 25, 2020, FNC Entertainment confirmed that Rowoon will star in upcoming JTBC drama She Would Never Know, based on the webtoon of the same name. It is the second drama Rowoon has laid a main role.

10. Choi Siwon

Aside from being a member of Super Junior, Choi has also ventured into solo activities, mainly acting. He played lead roles in the Korean dramas Oh! My Lady (2010), Poseidon (2011), Revolutionary Love (2017), and My Fellow Citizens! (2019) and had supporting roles in Athena: Goddess of War (2010), The King of Dramas (2012) and She Was Pretty (2015). Choi has also participated in various Chinese language films such as Helios, To the Fore and Dragon Blade. He is a perfect man, rich, handsome and kind.
