SOME UPDATES AND GOOD NEWS IN KPOP OF NOVEMBER 2020
1. Ex 2 pm members are now a HolLywood actor
Nichkhun has been cast in the film “Hong Kong Love Story,” a romantic comedy directed by Keoni Waxman. This film is said to be based on the real-life experiences of Byron Mann. Nichkhun and Byron Mann will play the sons of wealthy families who go to Hong Kong and experience various incidents that teach them the meaning of love and friendship.
Another casts who also starred in are Byron Mann, a Hong-Kong American actor who has appeared in films like “The Big Short” and TV series like “Altered Carbon,” and Kenneth Tsang, a veteran Hong Kong actor whose Hollywood credits include the James Bond film “Die Another Day” and “Memoirs of a Geisha.” Polish actress Dominika Kachlik will play the female lead, who is described as a character who will test the friendship of the two male leads.
The film will begin production in December. Aaron Shershaw, who had previously worked as the production manager on “Pacific Rim: Uprising,” is the executive producer.
2. MAMAMOO IS COME BACK WITH TRAVEL
When the group was crowned the winner of the Mnet female idol competition show “Queendom” last year, they won the opportunity to stage a comeback show on the network. So after releasing their 10th mini album “TRAVEL” on November 3, they put on their first Mnet comeback show that evening, titled “Monologue.”
The event was formatted like a music talk show, and MAMAMOO premiered tracks from “TRAVEL” as well as put on performances of some of their hit songs from the past seven years with new arrangements.

BLACKPINK’s “Lovesick Girls” continues to dominate our chart! The song repeats as No. 1 for the third consecutive week, again with a near perfect score. “Lovesick Girls” also has won six music shows so far. Congratulations again to BLACKPINK!
Holding steady at No. 2 is BTS’s English song “Dynamite.”
