KPOP GROUP WHO LOSE A MEMBER BEFORE DEBUT
It's really hard for a trainee to be able to finally debut, and even more succeed with their own group with the harsh competition among other kpop groups. However, it turns out that many unpleasant things they have to go through before finally debuting. One of them is the loss of a comrade before the planned to debut in a group. It's only just a bit more, before they finally debut together, yet they must go! Here are the list:
1. BLACKPINK
According to news circulating, initially BLACKPINK consisted of 5 members consisting of Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo, Rose and Miyeon. Miyeon, who practiced for 5 years at YG Entertainment, finally left the agency. For some reason Miyeon was decided to quit from the group debut.
One year after, he joined the Cube Entertainment agency until finally he successfully debuted with group (G) I-DLE.
2. ITZY
In 2018, it was rumored that JYP Entertainment would debut their new girl group in early 2019. Two popular trainees confirmed to debut in the group were Somi, former members of I.O.I and Ryujin who had participated in the MIXNINE survival event.
It's unfortunate that shortly after, Somi decided to get out of JYP Entertainment and chose to go solo. Somi, who originally planned to debut as a member of ITZY, was eventually replaced by Yuna.
3. TREASURE
After Yoonbin's departure from the group, TREASURE13 was renamed TREASURE with the formation of 12 members. Now, the group TREASURE is reportedly preparing for its debut after a year of delayed debut. The rookie group whose debut had been postponed before had the name TREASURE13 with a 13 member formation. However, while preparing for their debut, Ha Yoonbin decided to withdraw from the group TREASURE13 because he felt that the music genre carried by TREASURE13 did not suit him.
4. BIGBANG
Before it was mentioned, BIGBANG was planned to have 6 members, GD, TOP, Taeyang, Daesung, Seungri and Hyunseung. However, Yang Hyun Suk decided to remove Hyunseung from the debut group. The reason is because Hyunseung has a deficiency in controlling his facial expression. Hyeunsung later join CUBE and debut under BEAST.
5. GFRIEND
The first group debuted by the Source Music agency was previously planned to debut with 7 members. Unfortunately, two of them decided to leave the group debut for a reason. The two people are Jenny who is now known as a DIA member and Yang Yoojin.
After losing two of its members, the Source Music agency decided to change the formation of the GFRIEND group to 6 members by adding one new member who was none other than Eunha.
Well, that was just a few KPop groups who had lost their members before finally making their official debut. Even though they didn't debut in one group, they still support the other path they take, yes!
