It's OH MY GIRL Time to shine
The May 15 episode of KBS’s “Music Bank” had Oh My Girl’s “Nonstop” up against ASTRO’s “Knock.” Oh My Girl took home the win with 5,922 points to ASTRO’s 5,747 points, making this their 8th win for “Nonstop.”
Talking about their win, Oh My Girl said, “We’ve always done our best at every moment since our debut, and we’ve grown with every album we released. We’re so happy and grateful for our first music show win. We plan to continue to create great music for our fans.”
This winning is such a surprise for Oh My Girls member, as they got teary eyes with the result. The members shed burst into tears on stage as they celebrate the momentous occasion. Yoo A, the member, often shared that she is afraid that their group might not make it anymore and will go to disband soon. But that worry might not be a problem anymore, as Oh my girl current come back deliver a great feat and win the group a lot of musical trophy.
Looking back, Oh my girl first-ever music show win is on January 23 on SBS MTV’s “The Show,” 1009 days after they made their debut on April 21, 2015. It was soon followed by their second win on MBC Music’s “Show! Champion” on January 24 as well.

The group released their seventh mini album on April 27 and scored their sixth win for their title track “Nonstop”. Radio host Apink’s Jung Eun Ji praised them, saying, “Your songs are amazing. They’re very charming. Your title track ‘Nonstop’ swept music charts, and the music video also topped the chart.” Hyojung replied, “It doesn’t feel real. This is the first time I’ve ever seen such an interest [in us]. I feel happy and excited because it’s unfamiliar.”
In a surprise call with comedian Park Myung Soo, he commented, “Despite the popularity of trot these days, Oh My Girl’s songs are shining through. I support you guys.” Seunghee, who previously starred in “Salty Tour” with him, shared, “He took really good care of me then. He felt comfortable like he was my dad, and I even fed him codfish. I miss him.”
Oh My Girl is set to be part of the remote concert “Trip to K-Pop” that will take place on May 19, 20, and 21. The group will be performing on May 21 with KARD, Balming Tiger, Seo Samuel, and Martin Smith.
