BAEKHYUN Makes his SOLO DEBUT with CANDY and achieve a lot of things
Baekhyun Video Call Fansign on May 30, 2020 at 4:00PM KST. Album purchasing period 26~28th on Sound Wave Online Mall. Winners announced 29th. BAEKHYUN_Candy debuted 2nd on MelOn Real-Time chart!!! All 6 b-sides aside 'Candy' also debuted making a complete row within the top-rankings which is so amazing. Many of exo members congratulate him and post a supportive message or video, including kai, chanyeol, sehun and more.
Baekhyun becomes the 5th artist to exceed 500,000 copies sold in the 1st week of release on Hanteo, joining #EXO, #BTS, #X1 and #SEVENTEEN.
Additionally, <Delight> enters the Top 10 (9th) of the albums with highest sales in the 1st week of release on Hanteo.

Q. What were the reactions of EXO members from listening to Candy?
BH: All of the members said the song was really good and cheered me on a lot. Suho hyung and Chanyeol even came to the music video set and gave me a lot of strength.
BH: Whenever I work with Kenzie noona for an album/track, she compliments me about my tone and how I'm doing great/improving, and I feel as if I am collaborating when we're working together and find new ways of singing. It's always a nice experience working with her
BH: I was worried about this VLIVE being too structured, how was it for you all? I hope you got to know me better as a person. Thank you for your comments cheering me on, I am starting to really realize that 6PM is soon arriving. I hope this time was happy for you all!

Q. What moment would you go back to if you could?
BH: I love my life right now, but if I had to choose it would be my highschool days. I didn't need to be an adult, I could do chores and get allowance and go on trips with my friends. I didn't really study haha I miss those times
Comment: In what emotion/tone did you sing Bungee?
BH: I think I sang it as if I was seducing the other person. Or, rather than seduction, I think tempting them is a more accurate description. Kind of like "I fell for you at first sight, I don't care what it takes so have me!"
Comment: All the B-sides are title-worthy!
BH: I had the same thought, and we were thinking of making more content like music videos for the B-sides but we were short of time.
Q. I'm listening to only your voice right now and its so nice! Do you have any thoughts of becoming a radio DJ Baekhyun?
BH: Around 80% of my talking consists of hand movements and gestures so I think that might be a bit difficult haha

Q. Why did you name the song this way?
BH: I think you could leave that to your interpretation. It could mean going for a drive together, or holding hands to jump into a certain situation. It's all up to your interpretation!
Q. Baekhyun loves diffusers/candles. What's his fav scent?
BH: I like woody, plant-based scents. Like when you walk into a pine tree forest. For soap, I still like fabric softener smell.
BH: (reading comment) "You like plant smell? I'm going to grow a plant on my head now" LOL
