Do you think Korean as somewhat unreligious country is all straight? Based on history, there is a lot of literature said about same sex couple since Joseon era. So who has the lesbian rumor among the girls celebrities in Kpop or Korean entertainment industry?

0. Yoo ah in

Yoo Ah-in, who has been recognized for her excellent acting skills by appearing in various works such as the movie Veteran and Wan Deuk-i, is a hot topic. His boyfriend, Choi Ha-neul, a graduate of Seoul National University, unexpectedly reacted to Yoo Ah-in’s gay rumors, drawing attention.

Sculptor Choi Ha-neul posted several photos on Jan 26th. Yoo Ah-in appeared in these photos posted without any caption, drawing attention. Rumored South Korean actor Yoo Ah-in is rumored to be gay and has a rich boyfriend, who actually have a wife. Yoo Ah-in’s gay rumors first surfaced when a photo he posted on his minihompy in the past became controversial. In the photo, Yoo Ah-in is sitting on a purple sofa and applying lip balm.

However, people who saw the photo claimed that the sofa in the photo was a sofa in a famous gay club, and eyewitness accounts of seeing Yoo Ah-in at a gay club continued. In response, netizens had suspicions that Yoo Ah-in was gay.

Afterwards, Yoo Ah-in and Choi Ha-neul uploaded photos of each other on social media, and the gay rumors of Yoo Ah-in rose again, and various speculations about their relationship began to emerge.

Actress Son Ye Jin has had rumors swirling around that she was a lesbian for a while now, with people even going as far as putting her in rumors of a love triangle with SNSD‘s Yuri and another female celebrity. Well recently Son Ye Jin has said that she has a “homosexual disposition”.

Responding to a question of what kind of character she wanted to portray:

Update: son yejin announced her upcoming marriage with actor hyunbin, it means she is actually a bi or it is a camouflage as hyunbin once has a rumor as gay too as the reson for her broke up with song hye kyo. It could possibly that the rumor is false too and son yejin is indeed straight.

2. Cheetah, unpretty rapstar

Kim Eun-young (Hangul: 김은영; born May 25th, 1990; age 28), better known by the stage name Cheetah (치타), is a South Korean rap singer.

well, well, many fans already accuse that her has a long time girlfriend that she has been get along for years. She didn't try to hide it, so no doubt that people find it. They often post "ADORABLE" looking photos of them together. Looking at the fact that it isn't a good thing to publish a gay relationship officially on Television,  yes Cheetah might not telling to her fans that she has a girlfriend. Yet, with how each other bragging the closeness in their own private insta, many fans believe that the girl in photos is indeed cheetah's girlfriend.

I mean look at them! They are so cute together. There is no marriage news about them but at least the couple stay strong till now. Well, cheetah never said that she is lesbian, so they might be just best friend, *wink. One thing for sure, we won’t get official statement regarding same sex couple in SOuth korea, it didn’t exist there. Only several VERY FAMOUS celebrities (famous because of his orientation) has come out like hong seok cheon, and it cost him his entire career, broken family and prejudice from society.

3. Kim Taeyeon from SNSD

Well, she is at least a BI. She has shown her fabulous support a lot of times. She celebrates the legalize of gay marriage in her own personal instagram, and post a purple image in bi celebration day. Okay, people might told me that she could only a supporter and not a lesbian or bi. But let me tell you this, in a lot of variety show or interviews, Kim taeyeon often said that gender/sex isn't something she looks for to be able to fall in love. She also said that she like the "love" she received from her fans, either it's man or woman, and she said that her group could be an "ideal image"of lover for both man and woman. Many sones (snsd fans) accuse that she has girl crush or is infatuated with her members, Tiffany. Taeyeon has been a good friend with her these years. But as Tiffany is a devoted Christian who against gay relationship, it seems her romantic relationship will go to nowhere. Especially by the fact that she is a super popular idols, it is no chance she will come out to like girl officially. Yet, she is a proud queer!

4. Kwon Yuri from SNSD

Another SNSD members that is rumored to be lesbian. If for Cheetah case we could be more certain about it, but for Yuri, as she is a public figure who has idealize image aka an idols, it's harder for her to come out "lesbian". So her appearance with her rumored girlfriend is more discreet and secrecy. Okay, we won't hide the fact also that Yuri has been in relationship with a guy. But they have been broken up and there is several rumors also that Yuri is going out with both male and female. On yuri's personal instagram, she might not post any related photos about her rumored girlfriend, BUT, in the other hand, there is tons of photo on her rumored girlfriend instagram.Which is got deleted now. (So I couldn't post some photos as proof here, sorry)

It has been for years, and some of the long time fans has accused that they might probably broken up now. People accuse that Yuri is now going out with actress Son Yejin after broken up with her pass girlfriend. So what makes people think that Yuri is indeed a lesbian? Despite her popular ship with her members, Jessica jung, She often busted by her fans, like a bunch of images of "GIRLxGIRL" in her insta and a picture that post something like "GIRLS IS SO HOT".  netizens unknowingly discovered Yuri and Son Ye Jin wearing couple hats when SNSD was filming the “Girl Forest” show in France and Son Ye Jin was also traveling to France with her friends. But her relationship with son yejin doesn’t last long because yuri is a playgirl. And this makes son yejin heart left broken. (Based on the rumor)

 5. Sunmi, ex wonder girls

Sunmi, this awesome dancer and soloist, has known to be SNSD Taeyeon biggest fans. As fans often saw how nonchalantly her reaction to male around her, people begin to accuse that she is lesbian. Adding as fuel, Sunmi also often support LGBTQ,  During a concert when she sent fans into a tizzy by showing support of LGBT with rainbow flags. She also be vocally open about it on her twitter. The rumor is eventually come out and Sunmi answer the accusation as not true.

Well, who knows the truth right? She might lie about it since it could ruin anyone career for going public about it. But she could be straight and someone who is open minded. She might be a queer like taeyeon.

6. KARA GYURI

Former KARA member Gyuri has been revealed to be dating the oldest grandson of the former President of Dongwon Construction, Song Ja Ho. The two had met in June 2019 at the Jon Burgerman exhibition at the M Contemporary Art Center in Seoul. But just like SNSD YURI or TAEYEON who have ex- boyfriend before, as trying to follow the norm, Gyuri busted herself out when visiting to gay club due pandemi in Seoul.  Gyuri is seen looking gorgeous as always next to her boyfriend Song Ja Ho. The two have been dating and acknowledged the rumors on October 1st. They are said to have connected over the love for art. Many netizens were buzzing about the relationship after it was revealed that Song Ja Ho was 7 years younger than Gyuri.

Yet, It’s being reported that Park Gyuri was the female idol spotted at Itaewon Gay Club on May 2020. The 31-year-old singer and actress, better known by the mononym Gyuri, made a voluntary visit to a COVID-19 screening center soon after a 29-year-old man was officially listed as a COVID-19 patient on May 6 following his free-wheeling overnight trip through gay bars and dance clubs in Itaewon well known as the gay community's best-known party scene. "I would like to say I deeply regret and apologize for not following the norms that everyone should follow during the period of social distancing, regardless of all reasons," Gyuri said in a statement published through her agency, Creative Kkot, on May 11. She said she was tested negative and placed into quarantine.

Gyuri said she took off her mask just for about 20 seconds from the time of entry into a club in Itaewon. However, she did not give details such as her partner. 

7. Red velvet Yeri and Kim sae ron, child actress

She posted this photos along with a heart in purple color, which is a bisexual color. She also quiet outspoken to support LGBTQ. Both of them used to be very close, best friend and called each other as soulmate. They followed each other on their official instagram and often "show casting" their closeness, they used to hang out with each other a lot, even going to overseas trip like Bali despite their busy schedules. Many fans ship them so bad. Unfortunately, they might have broken up or fought with each other as, they unfollow each other on instagram and even delete their sweet photos. Yeri as a social butterfly has tons of male idols friends. Some of her haters often accuse her as “naughty girl” who played a lot with their oppa. But never once, she show a real interest toward her male idols friend, she only said and act like closed pal with them.
