BTS, also known as Bangtan Boys, is an acronym for the Korean expression Bangtan Sonyeondan, meaning Bulletproof Boy Scouts. Jeon Jung-kook (Korean: 전정국; born September 1, 1997), better known mononymously as Jungkook, is the maknae (youngest) of the mega hit boygroup from South Korea, BTS.

BTS has evolved their identity, channeling different themes throughout their music, through eras like School, The Most Beautiful Moment in Life and Wings. In just four years, the band has completed three world tours, released four studio albums (two in Korean and two in Japanese) and five EPs, gaining millions of fans across the world. BTS were used to called as "dirt spoon idols", an offensive term that describe ppl who financially struggling, are now world's highest paid Korean act & the highest paid in K-advertising industry with $4.3M of endorsement fee

During the years, each member of BTS has shown their remarkable growth in song writing and music producing. Just a few example: Jin wrote the lyrics for his song Awake and helped to write the lyrics for outro:Propose. Jimin wrote lyrics for his song lie. He had also helped to come up with the melody for Blood Sweat and Tears. Jungkook wrote and produced his own song Begin. In fact, BTS is supposedly responsible for bringing $3.6 billion into South Korea's economy yearly.

Though Jungkook originally wanted to be a badminton player, he made it big as one of the world's biggest K-pop stars. After realizing he wanted to become a singer, Jungkook auditioned for a South Korean talent show, but unfortunately was not selected. Something good did come out of his audition, though. He got noticed by several entertainment companies including Big Hit Entertainment, the company which now manages BTS.

At a young age of 22, Jungkook already own a $1.74M apartment, while riding in European car, a mercedes, owning clothes in his wardrobe that costs six digits, a room full of awards (for the group BTS), has a vocal range of three octaves, able to show off the dance, he box, draw, film, edit, compose, write lyrics and also a good player in gaming.

His birthday is on 1th September 1997 so his star sign is the Virgo. His blood type is A and he is born in Busan, South Korea. Jungkook stands 178cm tall and his favourite number is 1. He portrays outstanding versatility and fearlessness and is undoubtedly the strongest member of the group. He's very reserved and rarely shows his feelings although he is extremely emotional. He is often thought to be in a relationship with Kim Taehyung(fellow member of BTS) though they are just very good friends. Afterall in South Korea, it isn't a gay thing to be affectionate and do skinship with the same gender/sex.
