BAP vs TS entertainment, from slave contract to mistreatment and not getting paid

“Don’t buy our album”
“Don’t buy my album”
“Don’t support our company”
“Don’t buy the merchandise”

Sadly enough, this was what the leader of a popular boy group once said to the fans. He mention this almost everywhere, on his IG live, twitter,  fan meeting, fan sign and concert. He even diss his company on live show. He did it when possible, directly so it won't get edited out. Who is this unfortunate group? It's none other than B.A.P, the talented rising boy group, that in their prime time, the popularity even on par with EXO and BTS. They won Best New Artist award in the Seoul Music awards in 2013. In 2014 BAP won the 'Best Korean Act' award at the MTV EMAs (Europe Music Awards). BAP used to be a quiet threat for other boy group with their unique characteristic and musical style, the chemistry between each members also are adored by many, especially the fans.

B.A.P (Korean: 비에이피; an acronym for Best Absolute Perfect) was a South Korean boy group formed in 2012 under TS Entertainment. B.A.P has been named a "versatile group" by MTV Korea, with Yun Seong-yeol of Star News Korea lauding their charisma and on-stage performances, as well as Yongguk and Zelo's rapping and Daehyun and Youngjae's vocal abilities. BAP's warrior debut album, sold 10,000 copied in just 2 days. Their No Mercy album made #1 on "iTunes top 10 hip hop albums" (U.S., Canada, Austria, and Japan) In October B.A.P. Was nominated for MAMA's 2012 for 'Best New Male Artist' and 'Artist of the Year' with Crash. In the same BAP's Stop it made #1 on "Hanteo Chart". There are so much more awards that they won that I wish I could have put on here but I would've been typing this all day!

But despite of this success that BAP got, Did u know they faced hardship during their journey (contract slave) till they can’t handle it anymore so they sue the company and went into hiatus?

After hiatus things get harder as they need to build up their name again. We fans even boycott their concert to let them rest a bit. BAP Member were being tortured by the company as packed schedules up to 7 comeback in a year, world tour in each year and non stop promotion concert. They even force them to perform even when they were sick.

Surprisingly in 2014 they open up that the company didn’t pay em any cent for what they did. I mean bap profit at the time was about 1 million usd per month. In order to pay the lawsuit process, Yongguk sold his sneakers collection n doing part time work as newspaper boy secretly News broke that B.A.P had sent in a lawsuit to Seoul law offices on November 26th, requesting to cancel their contracts with their abusive current company TS Entertainment. The boys we adore and love has been using "slave contracts" to categorize their complaints and displeasure at how the club treated them, stating that the contract only benefited the company which is unfair for them.

They complained about the uneven distribution of incomes. I mean, the work and promotions are done by B.A.P themselves, why would TS do unevenly distributed their incomes?! Just thinking about this makes me mad. The company had reportedly profited nearly $10 million since our boys' debut, but the members only received $17,000 each within the three year interval. Divided over 40 months, this sum translated into roughly $500 a month. Over such a hard work, they only received 500 a month? How brutal.

Currently TS have been forwarded to prosecution on charges for failing stipends and violating the Labor Standart Act under korea government law. This action was taken by the ministry of employment and labor. If found guilty and couldn’t afford to payback all the artists, TS Entertainment will be ask to close down the business entity. Funny when this action was taken this year while the artist was suffered from the very beginning. Funny when bap sue TS back then in 2014 Most of so being called as fans abandoned them said that bap seek gain attention, bap didn’t thank TS after being popular and so on.

Several other aspects of the contract is also mentioned in the lawsuit, including the length and lack of protection afforded to them. TS hadn't been protecting B.A.P well enough, which they should be. B.A.P has been absent from entertainment activity for whatever reason (including Himchan's One Shot era hiatus to heal a broken hand) and that would extend the contract terms to make up for the amount of time missed, which means, if B.A.P were to miss or cancel a schedule, TS will ask B.A.P to make up for the schedule as soon as possible, even if it means death. All medical expenses were covered by the members parents rather than the agency.

Ex BAP members are officially departed from TS on 190127,
Bang yongguk owns and start his company called CONS Ent.
Young jae owns his company called @jharmony_jp, he just dropped new song Others member are doing good and busy also we fans are getting broke as they release six different album every six months now they focus as solo but they always looking for opportunity to reunite again wait till the leader discharge from military. Of course the fans can't wait to see BAP member back together after the discharge.
