Ahn Jiyoung, the vocalist of Bol4, said in her latest magazine interview to the reporter: I think 25 is an vague age, where I'm not young nor old by society standard. My friend, one by one is graduated from college and now try to find a job or preparing themselves to the real world. So that makes me to think it's an age where I need to try new music, a phase that I should go and experience. I made an album with the idea that it's okay if you only know half about the world and not knowing all could be a blessing. And even if the time now is hard, it will pass. There will be a moment <for you> to shine.
However, people begin to criticize "the self-replicating", because of the repeating or similar musical styles that bol4 has done before this past years. Yet, in this comeback, Bol4 has significantly change in this album. Breaking away from traditional acoustic pops, the music spectrum has been expanded to include rock, hip-hop and electronic sound. The outfit of tem who previously more girly-ish, is now also more sophisticated and looks mature. Ahn jiyoung who had her hair always blonde, is now changed to more fragrant color, the mint one.
The new attempt was made not only because of the talks of self-replicating sound / similar music style, but rather the urge to simply want a change as a musician.
