[BREAKING] LOONA CHU WON AGAINST HER AGENCY TOWARD HER EXCLUSIVE CONTRACT

Loona was introduced to the public through a pre-debut project that began in October 2016, where each of the 12 members were revealed in a periodic fashion by releasing a promotional single over the following 18 months. As it’s already more than 7 years of career, officially there will be some changes for some discussion regarding new contract. It is no secret that Chuu was the most overworked Loona member in 2021 as she had been in over 15 TV programs and events. It also took a toll on her health and she had to skip Loona’s first offline concert in three years. Her agency Blockberry Creative or BBC might think differently from the artist and only focusing for more income, thus make the idols overworked. Due to this, the idols decide to take some argument to court for some clause in her original contract with BBC.

Chuu won a partial victory in her injunction request against BBC to suspend effects of her exclusive contract; a court recently cited this request from Dec '21. This victory means that Chuu got the court to suspend a clause on her exclusive contract that allows her to decide whether or not she wants to take up certain gigs.

She was overworked so now she will chose what solo schedules she wants. BBC can't force her to take gigs. This could be why BBC has a new management team now. I don't think there's any reason to panic about her leaving LOONA since she's literally on schedule with today(previews) and on Queendom. It's more of her personal schedules that she can control now. So for fans who worried that the idols might leave the group or the agency doesn’t need to worry.
