YOUR IDOLS TYPE BATTLE: MUSCULAR vs SLANDER

As people already realize that many more idols have bigger and muscular body type nowadays. Back to the second generation of Kpop idols, not many idols will have a muscular body type. With these various concepts that each idol groups promote, there have been various nicknames given to these groups according to the concept they fit perfectly. Only 2 PM and 2 Am who promoted as "Beast Idols" who have muscular body type back then, and honestly if you compare it to current generation of Kpop idols, their body wasn't that much bulk compare to now. Over the years, the idols boasting of masculinity with built muscles were given the nickname of 'Beast-dols' for their beastly and manly visuals, while the idols with more slim and boyish looks were given the nickname 'Boyfriend-dol.'

It's an interesting fact too that even with muscular body, some of the idols are still have their own baby face looked, make it contrast and give mixed appeal to the fans. There are also several occasion where senior idols who used to be a slender type has improved his body and become bulk. In EXO's early debut days, Chanyeol had fine muscles and a slim figure but has since succeeded in transforming his body through regular practice. Not only exo, BTS members also has done some transformation regarding their body type. Just look at RM, Jungkook and V, who used to have a slender type body and now have a bulk body. Thanks to HYBE gym, it seems many BTS members makes time to shape their body.

Recently, one netizen started an online community discussion on whether netizens prefer their male idols slender or muscular. Other netizens quickly joined the discussion to give their two cents on this topic and commented on different opinions on this matter.

Some of the result said that they prefer idols to have a muscular body, but most of the comments also said that they preferred a slender body.

Although it received mixed respond as many fans become to like the muscular body of an idol too especially if they're still have the baby face look.
