SIX EX SM ENTERTAINMENT ARTIST WHO DEBUT IN DIFFERENT COMPANY

SM Entertainment is one of the largest agencies in the Korean entertainment industry which has produced many famous idol groups, such as Super Junior to AESPA. Having a big name, of course, many people are planning to join this leading agency. Sm entertainment is the only agency which successfully safe their position as big 3. (JYP & YG has their down side). Even with the new contender, big hit, who silently steals the #1 spot from SM entertainment after their join venture as hybe entertainment, many kpop fans still think that SM is one of the best.

Some idols who are now successful in their careers now with several different agencies turned out to have been trainees at SM Entertainment. Thanks to several training days and high standard, they’re successful even after dropping out from SM. If They don't decide to leave, maybe some of these idols could debut with the group belonging to the biggest agency in South Korea. Still, their decision to leave SM makes them who they are.

1. Jungwon

If he doesn't leave SM Entertainment and debut as the leader of ENHYPEN, Jungwon might just become a member of NCT. No wonder Jungwon have that high standard visual as one of ex sm trainee.

2. Jihan

Jihan Weekly apparently spent his training period at SM Entertainment for several years before he decide to quit and pursue another path.

3. Dahyun

Before joining Woollim Entertainment in 2017 and debuting under Rocket Punch, Dahyun was an SM Entertainment trainee. Because she failed to debut under SM, she left the agency and pursue another opportunity outside SM.

He was also known to have trained at SM Entertainment and made friend with Ravi at that time.

4. Woo AH!

Many fans think that she have visuals similar to Red Velvet's Irene. It turns out that she has gone through a training period at SM Entertainment. With that kind of look, it isn’t surprising that she was once a SM trainee. Not only that, her group mate, Wooyeon Woo!ah! also known to be a former SM Entertainment trainee along with her.

5. Chaehyun

Chaehyun is becoming the winner of the Girls Planet 999 and gets #1 position at final episode.She is debuting with Kep1er and become their official center, Chaehyun turned out to have entered the aespa debut line-up, but unfortunately doesn’t make it till the end due to several issues. She doesn’t lose hope and keep to dream big, she tried another chance with mnet audition program that made her who she is today.

6. G DRAGON

One of the legendary trainee of SM, He have a SWAG aura attached to YG Entertainment, but who would have thought if G-Dragon had trained at SM Entertainment for 2.5 years? Well, many people said that his style is different for SM entertainment and better suitable in YG, although many of lecturer/teacher said that he is really talented.
