Where to read MR QUEEN K DRAMA NOVEL CHINESE DRAMA ADAPTION

People are addicted to this kdrama lately, why not? The drama is funny, interesting and fresh with great acting performance by both of the leads. Mr. Queen is a 2020 South Korean television series which aired on tvN. The historical fantasy drama, set in the Joseon Kingdom period, is about a modern-day chef Jang Bong-hwan (Choi Jin-hyuk) who mysteriously slips through time and becomes trapped in the body of Queen Cheorin (Shin Hye-sun). He as the queen now has to keep his secret from the people in the royal palace, while struggling to fulfill the queen's royal duties. Directed by Yoon Sung-sik, it stars Shin Hye-sun and Kim Jung-hyun as the Queen. This drama is amazing, I never feel disappointed with the new episodes as they are equally funny. The writers have an amazing storyline and the actors are portraying it amazingly. Not only that, Mr Queen also have interesting funny side characters that make this drama more appealing to viewers. TvN series "Mr. Queen" is seeing a continuous rise in its viewership rating despite controversy over "distorting history," scoring its highest rating with Saturday's episode at 11.3 percent. It also took first place in its time slot across all channels, including public broadcast networks. It scores among the key demographic of viewers ages 20 to 49, with whom it scored an average rating of 6.3 percent and a peak of 7.8 percent nationwide.

Meanwhile, another tough contender at the prime time slot is The Uncanny Counter, which successfully closed its first half by pulling in an estimated 2.66 million viewers on its eighth episode. The fantasy-thriller series has seen a weekly increase in viewership ratings before charting a record-high 9.302% on December 20. Now, The Uncanny Counter has officially replaced Voice 2 (2018) as OCN’s top-rated drama of all time.

There is similarity of this two, both of them are adapted from webtoon or novel. If you want to check out How to watch uncanny counter, you can read it on my previous post.

Mr Queen is based on the original Chinese web drama Go Princess Go, the series is about a man named Bong-hwan from the modern age, being trapped in the body of Queen Cheorin in the Joseon era. There is 3 ending available for the chinese drama Go princess Go: The happy ending where Mr Queen stayed in the pass, The Gay relationship where Mr Queen is going back to his body in the future and encounter with the king as his doctor. And the third one as a weird ending, where all the drama is actually a drama (well), and it ends when the actor played with bridal suit... very weird, I can't even explain it. I hope the Korean adaption can bring us the viewers more suitable ending since we have 20 episodes.
